    Hi, SS Gods,

This is just a suggestion - If its is ok with everybody, can we put the barcode number after entering the description - it would help others not to get the right/similar product but wrong barcode.

    for example :-

Loreal Revitalift Double Lifting Eye Cream (15Ml) 3600521 012840 (correct)

Loreal Revitalift Double Lifting Eye Cream (15Ml) 3600521 697535 (wrong)

Sorry you had a rough time Vickitoria. I think problems like this are once in a blue moon, so don't let a jobs worth trout put you off - she's clearly not savvy enough to work it out for herself!

Was just about to put the same thing, I've had the odd stroppy SA but the majority are great:) People will always post about getting grief, but not bother posting about good SA's. The SA that i had today just put them through no comment and a "Have a nice easter" as I went, Which I most certainly shall courtesey of Mr T.I shall just be hunting down some whoopsied veg tomorrow evening and my easter will be complete:T

Any ideas for comebacks - I'm not a conforntational type so just said "Bought it last week, next day seen them half price in Asda. SO of course I was going to cash in. What's the problem?"
She wasn't happy, said she was 'onto people doing this'

I would like to add, the SA I had yesterday was absolutely lovely, she was an older middle aged lady who perhaps would e given the 'trout' label by age, but she was wonderful. She was confusd by the voucher but didn't know how to put it through. She was very polite and said she needed to see the supervisor, who was equally as lovely, who said she had to check the receipt, scan and put in the amount and sign the receipt if the customer wishes to keep it.

Today I had another middle aged lady who looked like she may have given me trouble, but had dd having a whinge sat in the trolly which kept me fully distracted so she didn't have a chance to be difficult, that's if she was planning to be of course. The first shop I ended up at a teenage girls till who looked like she was fed up of working there, scanned the receipt, silly thing, so had to say to scan the voucher instead and she put it through without so much as a word.

I have never had a bad experience personally but have had one make 'interesting' comments regarding it. Your doing nothing wrong by using your vouchers so if they do have a problem point out the terms and condirtions on the voucher and that you are not breaching any. I would be fairly happy to use the 'If Tesco was heaper we wouldn't be having tis discussion...' line :)

That is genuinely very interesting - I did not know that, wonder if it makes it LESS likely we will get vouchers? Who knows...

Anyway on topic, I am on holiday  so have been to (all Nottingham area) :

    Carlton
    Top Valley
    Bullwell
    Hucknall
    Mansfield
    - no problems but they generally checked with a supervisor

    Long Eaton
    Toton
    Beeston
    - no problems, all just followed correct procedure

So I have been lucky, so far, touch wood etc etc. I have however been struggling to find Nobilo and lamb racks - anyone in the area got any tips? :D

THANK YOU everyone for all your inputs, I love DTD and I love these threads... Biggest thanks also to the fabulous spreadsheet team :T

PS I generally now pick the "possible" trouts too - they have more of an idea of what they are doing, and the only comments I have had have been the interested kind!
