Result - went to my local T Extra today to get another litre of Gordons - figured even at 17 or 16 it would be worth it but its still £19 odd and I had the £1 voucher.

Has anyone been to the stores at Wisbech or Downham, any problems with them taking vouchers?
don't know about those but had no problems in Thetford & my brother uses Brandon and hasn't commented on any problems.

Just bought 4 pieces of cod loin £17 :eek: Nice lady asked if I minded her nipping to serve someone on the deli counter first, no problem gave me a chance to pull out the sticker from the ice and check the bar code on the back , all looks good.:T

Just had this for tea again, with a rocket salad on the side. I cooked it in a tin foil parcel with butter, garlic, salt & pepper, lemon and a little bit of boiling water, stuck it in the oven for 25 mins and it's absolutely delicious:T My son loves it but had better not get used to it at £15 a kilo:rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Just been into local Tesco and had a £6 voucher (bought Thorntons egg for £6 and nothing else). Supervisor got real shirty.
"I'm sick of these. They're going to stop these soon, people fleecing Tesco." etc etc

No issue taking them before but seems they have started looking at the receipt in more detail and aren't happy when voucher is close to (or more than!) the original spend.

Any ideas for comebacks - I'm not a conforntational type so just said "Bought it last week, next day seen them half price in Asda. SO of course I was going to cash in. What's the problem?"
She wasn't happy, said she was 'onto people doing this'

Just want to say I spent my first voucher today.
I was rather nervous having heard some of the stories here, but I neednt have worried. I picked a young lad on a till, gave him my voucher, paid the diff, wished him happy easter, left a happy bunny!
I will seek him out next time with my next voucher , and I hope all such visits will be the same.
Thank you to everyone on here for all your help with prices and information.:j

Sorry you had a rough time Vickitoria. I think problems like this are once in a blue moon, so don't let a jobs worth trout put you off - she's clearly not savvy enough to work it out for herself! You did right - you're comeback was bob on - my method is kill any awkwardness with kindness and huge smiles! Then they're the ones feeling awkward not you!

Has anyone tried this yet? Could use clubcard vouchers then dtd it.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Collection or Brunette

    Mr T -£5.10*

    Mr A £5.00 any 3 FOR £10.00

So buy three for £15.30 makes dtd £10.60 Net cost £4.70 for three gift sets

i haven't checked the rice for a few days, but the last time i bought these they scanned at £3.33 each at tesco. before that i'd bought a few times, so check the price before you buy. if they've gone back up to £5.10 it'll be ok:)
