Well mum arrived and decided we would tackle the conservatory together so that's what we've been doing. She's just gone so I need to carry on on my own now.

Morning all
Gorgeous day here, I've got some washing out. Looks like this could be the last day for the kitchen:j, tomorrow the blinds should be fitted and on Thursday the table and chairs are being delivered, also an Asda shop.
DD2 is going to take me to the tip tomorrow with some old stuff to make some room and I'm hopeful she'll help me start putting things back. I'd like to get the larder sorted out before the shopping comes so I know where I'm putting things. I bet there'll be a lot of putting in, taking out, and putting in again!
Then I'll be able to clean the living room a bit better without so much rubbish in there and gradually fill all the other cupboards.
Not caught up yet so I hope everyone's OK.
I've got four men in the kitchen now! No wonder I feel sick all the time, hate having people in.
DH had his dentist appointment this morning (emergency one) and had the tooth taken out but he's got to go back in June to have the root removed. He's got bendy roots apparently. He didn't look at all well when he got back but he's had to go to work, he's going to book a day's holiday for the next appointment.0 -

I've just lost a longish post and can't face trying to remember it all. However, I've eaten my frog. :j If I count the ironed clothes downstairs, there may be a leg or two left, but upstairs DS2's and my things are all put away and DH's and DS1's stuff is waiting for them. There's another load on the whirlie, WM is on and only one more load waiting.
Going to have a banana and a hot drink to finish my lunch and then work for 2 hours before taking DS2 out for a bit. The local wetlands centre seems like a good idea - as long as we're back by 4.30 to take the cat to the vet's (provided she's around and I can get her into the basket.
Best get something out for tea while I'm in the kitchen.0 -

I suspect nil Flying will happen tomorrow, what with The Tea Monster being here.:D
Also, I'm informed we're going out for our dins tomorrow; wish me luck, people! Actually, as long as we don't bump into anyone we know, it should be fine, as I'll just be with Mr LW.:o
Juliejim I'm glad you have some blister plasters – ouchy ouch, sore feet are awful!
Froddy welcome home; glad you had a good time. How are the furries?
Mumto5 that's great that you have good mobility in your hand, but please take care; you don't want it going ping again and being back where you started.
Jojo I was interested to read your post re the demand that the rhythm section be of professional standard; they'll end up with no-one if they're not careful, which is what happened re the CAMRA pub inspections around here – the Powers That Be started demanding that we visit out-of-the-way pubs that we have to do anything up to a 60-mile round trip to get to, and when doing the Good Beer Guide inspections, insisting that we'd visit 6 or 7 pubs in one evening..... so lots of people said they wouldn't go at all then, thank you so much! I hope you're still getting in some practice though; your music obviously means a great deal to you. Oh.... and imho, a badly-played oboe can sound remarkably like a dying sheep!:D
Kazw sticky-vibes for SS1 + wife.:o
Jinky awww, bad dreams are horrid. Take it steady today, and I'll send sweet-dreams vibes for tonight.
Pollybear (((HUGS))) I can't face having workmen in, either  – one of these days I'll have to bite the bullet and get the kitchen refurbished..... but not this year, methinks (been saying that for at least the last 5 years!) I hope your DH feels a bit better by now, too.
I'm relieved to see that it's not just me that doesn't care for the kissing/invading personal space thing.:o Quite apart from that's a bit too friendly with people I just met, there's a practical reason too... people can inadvertently hurt me. More than once, just shaking hands with a new acquaintance has made me yelp in pain, as they've gripped my hand so hard. Lol, I guess after 9 years together, Mr LW knows how to not hurt me, iyswim (I won't say more, for the sake of decorum!);)
Right, I must grab a duster and start on the bedroom dragons!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 - Catch up on some calls/emails There's a lot of these, as I only dealt with the really urgent ones over the weekend, so I have about 3 days' worth to plough through Finally caught up with Monday's + the ones left over from the weekend.
