    Morning all

Sounds like a few of you are in need of (((hugs))) and posi-vibes. Look after yourselves.

I'm cross with myself because I'm not managing to crawl out of bed any earlier than 7.30 - not early enough for all I've got to get through, if I still want to have a steady start to the day.

Breakfast eaten and cups of tea drunk, e-mails read, daily plate website visited - suppose I need to make a start and go eat a frog (i.e. deal with laundry in various stages, but mainly put clean stuff away)

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    turn on some music!
    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
    Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Sort out shoes and bags..
Clean any electricals.. don't be frazzling yourselves though!
    Level Three
    Check those smoke alarms!
Wipe sofas, paintwork and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling junk mail!

    Extras
    1. Clean fires/behind radiators
    2. Wipe the windows in these areas
Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
    Level One
    Declutter the floor!!
Strip bedding, wash and replace.. air the duvet while it is naked!
    Level Two
Tidy up a chest of drawers.. fling anything that is unloved.
    Vacuum floors!
Clear a box of stuff.. put it in its proper homes or get rid!
    Level Three
Empty bins and do a mad 5 minutes filling the binbag!
Polish any mirrors or glass.. inc. dirty windows!

    Extras
    1. 15 minutes filing/shredding
    2. Catch up with an old friend/relative you've not spoken to in a while
    3. Tidy up the linen cupboard.. throw away anything unused/past its best
    4. HH-something gardening
Plan for the week (not necessarily in that order):
laundry - stopped waiting for DS1's last few bits, 2nd load on and 2 more waiting
make DS1 tidy space at bottom of loft stairs - WIP
    school stuff - WIP
    HW with DS2
car stuff - can't do anything until friend is back on Wednesday
bake a cake or two (or 3 - would like a simnel cake for Easter)
bake twinks for friend's son on Tue
    sort Mt Everest-sized filing mountain
    cat to vet's Tue 5pm
    tea

Washed 3rd lot of dishes - still 1 more to do
Put more recycling out after I broke a sundae dish
    Cleaned camping table
    Put fruit away
    Spoke to mum on phone

It's a school trip. they fly to San Francisco and are planning to see Alcatraz, Las vegas, Yosemite, Grand canyon, Hollywood and more...

all we got was Dudley Zoo:(

I'm sure they're going to have a great time, especially if it's been raining in the mountains around Yosemite, as the waterfalls will be quite spectacular.

Ooh, I've gone all nostalgic :rotfl:

Right, time to check the washing. Have an excellent day!

  • Good morning everyone! :j

I've got a ton of uni stuff to get on with, so I'm trying not to let myself get too carried away with sorting the house out :o

So far, I've got myself showered, dressed and coffeed up...
Also S&S bathroom, and got chilli out of the freezer for tea.

Level one in the bedroom has been done, so my remaining tasks are:
    sort out clean washing
have a quick dust over bedroom
    vacuum bedroom floor

And I'm sure I'll add some more on to avoid my uni work for another half hour! ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather while it lasts :)

Just had a very interesting session bouncing between Nat rail enquiries and The Trainline . I'm sure booking a journey used to be much simpler. How can the same journey cost two different prices???

Note to self - next time book earlier:mad:

Still can't face looking at comments on assignment so off to attack the house:rotfl:

    ETA - what lovely weather???????????

I've put a load of washing on the line and another load in the wm. Brushed kitchen floor and back hall.... Paid a few bills.... Hubby talking of heading to beach tonight and i hate it when someone moves the goalposts, so answer will be no and he can wait until tomorrow as agreed. Of course if he feels like giving me a hand today they maybe it would be doable to go tonight.

Right i best get kids fed and sort the clean washing....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
