I shall be off to bed any minute - yet again, this is an early night for me and it takes some getting used to.
Couldn't face going to the club tonight - the piece they were highlighting was some godawful post-bebop modern jazz. Showed DD and she wrinkled her nose and said 'but that's just noise'. I have to agree with her this time, as she may not like the music there, but she does accept that it is in some way musical the rest of the time. And next week is a special session where, although they don't mind fairly inexperienced saxophones honking away like demented geese, they have specifically said that all rhythm section participants must be of professional standard. Well stuff 'em. See how they manage without a flaming rhythm section then (as the other bassist isn't going either, nor are the 3 drummers). Honestly - alienating the backrow - how much can they afford to lose from the bar takings?
Anyway, will have tons of things to do tomorrow.
And I must make a start on my huge list of jobs to do. Otherwise this will never look as though I have moved in properly - and redecorating won't happen; leaving me stuck with a magnolia box for another few years
Off I go then - see you all in the morning!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Morning All
I'm going to strip the bed when I get out of it in a minute and then it's going to take me at least a HHC to do the dishes and sort the side in the kitchen. Mum's coming over this morning so I need to have done at least that. I've got to pick DD up about 4 and DS's friend will hopefully be coming over at some point. I've got loads to do in the house though but I can't spend all day on my feet so i'll have to see how it goes.
Must put recycling out too as it's bin day - the normal bin is already full as I've been at home all week with the kids and that doesn't get emptied again till next week.
Have a good day all
Hugs

OK, so flying first - managed all my dailies yesterday, and fluttered around the living room for an HHC, whilst mentally noting that there are some serious manky areas there which need an HHC all of their own ......... in my 'spare' time.
Then I went to the Doctors.
I have found a lovely GP at my surgery now, who not only listens, but then discusses lots of options, and involves you in decision making and always seems to manage to be sympathetic. Anyway, I now feel better for knowing I am not imagining how rubbish I feel, 'cause I am rubbish, and we are now going to try to unravel which of my rubbish bits are cause and which are effect. This must have done me some good as, although I had another rubbish night's sleep, I did actually wake up without a headache. Now I just need to see if I can dig through the rubbish to find enough energy for work and a bit more flying!Work is not my Hobby0 -
Pigpen must have been looking in my bedroom window:o:o.
Well I changed the bed yesterday so i must do the floordrobe today.
Needless to say it's not my stuff - OH has most of the wardrobe space but still files his clean and dirty stuff together on the desk:eek::eek::eek:. Still he is nearly 47 and if that's how he wants it.......
The rest is DD2's - she can't fit it in their room and she gets dressed in my room anyway when at school cos DD1 isn't awake!
Anyway spoons and appropriate (!!!) hugs to those who need.... mumto5 glad to see you posting again and glad the hand seems to be recovering! juliejim - glad to hear you've got blister plasters....and LW - glad to hear you got through the transfer- you should feel very proud of yourself!
Off to hang out some washing.........:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
