  • Valli - Maybe he borrowed someone elses iphone?
And facebook/media was free on alternative networks but text would have cost something? And he was worried about running up a bill? Out of country calls and txt's cost plenty - perhaps they've been warned against doing it by the school, you know, so the school doesnt have a bunch of peed off parents at the gates when mobile bills come through?
(No idea really, just looking for an answer :o)

    Anyhoo bedroom cleared.
    bed stripped
Winter dooby in the storage box under the bed.
Summer dooby draped over the line.
    Washing sorted.
Got in me lower size jeans too today, couldnt get them over me bum before. Bit tight round the thighs but on and done up easily. Still not losing weight tho
and my Dsis has lost 8lbs in 2 weeks  yeah I know I should be happy for her but it winds me up no end! (ohhh the family history - lets not go there, it would sound a lot like jealousy, where really it's my over exaggerated sense of Libran fair play :rotfl: )

  • Hi everyone-

I managed levels one, two and three today but none of the extras as I was visiting a friend with the baby till after lunch. OH is late at work tonight as he has a meeting with his bosses boss. :undecided I hope its not bad news we could really do without any more of that right now.

Baby asleep so I'm going to feed the cats and prepare dinner.

Nixie don't forget that muscle weighs heavier than the equivalent "bulk" in fat; so you'll declutter inches first, but not weigh any less to start with, as you become fitter, iyswim. The actual loss of weight will come a little later.

Well done on getting into the jeans though.:T

Yesterday's washing (my stuff) removed from airing cupboard and put away; today's washing (Mr LW's stuff) removed from line into airing cupboard.

Mr LW on his way home, so I need to finish off my brain training, and get dins on the go - nut loaf, mash and peas for us today. Might do some Marmite gravy, too.;)

    Afternoon all

Flying has only consisted of laundry and a bit of tidying today.

DS2 has had his brace off so lots of the day was spend going to and through there this morning and again this evening. He is very happy though and the results are great.

Just doing dinner and I think I'll have a quick hoover downstairs and DS1 is upstairs (sulking still I think) but the other two are playing badders and volley ball in the garden.

    1. [STRIKE]Move some books upstairs (need Dr Dragon's help with this one!)[/STRIKE] - well half done, all my Agatha Christies are now by my side of the bed, trying to decide on Ngaio Marsh or Dorothy L Sayers next! :rotfl:

Now that is my sort of list, I am just finishing Patrica Wentworth - I read Wentworth, Sayers, Allingham, Tey, Marsh, G Heyer murder ones and Christie on a rotation system. Any suggestions for authors of a similar ilk gratefully received? I got my mum the Daisy Dalrymples off the book people for Christmas which are ok.

Busy day at work today, didn't get back till 5.30. Loads to do tonight but off again tomorrow so hopefully catch up then. I very much want to get the play room and boys room mucked out over these holidays.

  • Valli ((Hugs)), I know how you feel DD was away with her dad and was tweeting , FB and BBMing everyone except for me:(

Nixie Well done on getting into your jeans :jInchers are so much more important than what the scales say IMO. Think of it this way would you fel better if the scales said you's lots 8lbs but you still couldnt get the jeans on

Pigpen Hope you and OH managed to get your time to yourselfs

Scarlettesmum fingers crossed that OH's meeting is for positive reasons

I took myself off to the shops this afternoon to pick something up for dinner and have a mooch around the cs as I need some clothes due to my weight sky rocketing over the past few months and untimatley gave OH a chance to do a told you so dance as I was too tired to make my way home and had to get OH to pick me up :o.

DD is still in bed a sleep thats nearly two whole day of near uninterupted sleep:eek: but at least on the few times she has been up she has seem a little brighter.
