Evening LA...you've been rather busy and I don't fancy any of your visitors(spiders or rodents)...I had a good 1st day back thanks. You really seem to have got your motivated head back on...well done you!!!!...and MIL doing the garden...she's a love...take care0

Evening all.
Well believe it or not, with the wire free PIRs you can adjust the setting so it *doesn't* go off when insects crawl over it and one of ours wasn't set to that.
I don't think it is that causing the problem to be honest *but* it just goes to show that they can affect them and we've changed it now for the future.
The alarm went off last night so we're testing everything tonight and over the next few nights by taking batteries out of all PIRs & contacts and seeing if alarm goes off.
If it *does* go off then we know it's the siren box which is the problem and we can do something about it straight away.
If it doesn't go off then we introduce batteries back in to all the units one by one and see what happens....try to eliminate each unit one by one.
I just want to get a full nights sleep!
Anyway - listed a couple more DVDs on Amazon today that came into my possession. I hope they sell! I also have a beauty product that I may list too but I am waiting to see if it sells on EBAY from another lady first.
I sold my colleague that item! So I had a lovely £20 note first thing this morning - unfortunately that has nearly all gone now due to required expenditure today but at least I didn't have to go to the speed bank!
One thing for "me" though....I found a lovely chocolate coloured cord skirt by GAP in a second hand shop today - so I have bought that.
£2.69 - bargain! It was pretty much what I have had in mind for about 2 years now to go with some long tan leather boots I have but have never seen anything in the shops that fitted so well. So I am well chuffed with that. It's washed already and is hanging on the line!
Didn't see any nice jumpers or long sleeve tops for the Winter though which I really do need. I might take a trip to town armed with £20 on Saturday and hunt some down in second hand stores in town as they are required.
OK off to do grocery shopping now on my own - I am going to try & hunt down bargains! My fiancé hates it (I think) when I trawl around looking for bargains as he just wants to get out but I can take my time tonight...:D
I hope you are all OK and have had a good day.
Catch you later.

oooooh a big PS here too!
Got sent a job description today as well and I am really excited about the job! I can easily do it and it pays pretty well too - a bit lower than I am on now but it would still be OK and I am sure it would go up quicker than where I am now anyway.
It's down the road from where fiancé works so we could car share too.
I have told the agency to put me forward as I am really keen on it! Wish me luck!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Good luck!!!! Maybe this is the one for you, karma & all that...... I've heard about a job I really want today - TBH I should stand a good chance with it, so have managed to convince myself now I don't want it .... what are we like
.
Good luck with clothes shopping too. I haven't had a good 'trawl' for ages!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Me again!
Grocery shopping was disappointing....no bargains to be had.
But I got there so late due to roadworks and a redirected route which was as much use as a chocolate saucepan that at least I had the supermarket to myself really! No screaming kids and crazy people driving their trolleys at me.
Managed a main shop including some quite dear non food items, for £42. Weekly budget is £50 officially (though I have been trying to get it below £40 for ages!) so...not too bad.
Although  OH MY GOD I just realised (looking at receipt) I picked up a bag of apples that cost £2.29!!!
I thought I'd grabbed a bag of value apples...they are Pink Lady ones. Oh B*gger - I don't even like apples that much I only eat them out of duty to my colon! :rotfl:

You didn't say it was wireless...
Have a look in your instruction manual, and see if it says anything about "anti-jamming" protection."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
