Well still off work but starting to feel better really. Still getting a few stabbing pains (!) in the abdomen area but at least I don't feel sick every time I move around now.

Something I have listed on EBAY has a bid - 2 more days to go so hoping it bids up a it as well if possible from the £2.50 it sits at now. But it was free to me so whatever I make I guess is a bonus right?

I have been pootling around the house today doing MSE things like...cleaning some of the windows with Dri-Pak white vinegar, cleaned down kitchen surfaces and fridge door/shelves too.

Also had a bag of stuff taken away by Cancer Research that didn't sell at the car boot - hopefully those old 'treasures' can be found another home via the shop. I always like it when a big bag of stuff gets picked up - I feel good for the de-cluttering!

I've washed up, got rid of some flowers (that lasted over a month!) into the compost bin and also brought the bin in after collection today.

Done some QuidCo searches and PigsBack quizzes. Tried doing stuff on GreasyPalm after seeing a post about it on here....but I really don't like that site so I gave up!

    *kicks heels*

What to do now? I really want to be doing something productive seems I am at home but feeling a bit better. But don't know what else to do! I suppose I could clean the remaining windows.....but not sure if I am that desperate! :rotfl: Is there *anyone* who likes cleaning windows?

Haven't really got anything else to EBAY or list on Amazon at the moment and what with the postal strikes it's not exactly a great time to be doing it anyway I guess.

    *kicks heels again*

    Sigh.

Well I've just amended my spreadsheet. I had scheduled in a gas bill for this month but I figure with the postal strike, if they were going to send me a bill any time now I won't get it for a good week.

Then I can delay payment till pay day on 25th October so....that should be around £50 less I have to find this month which is good as we had a big home maintenance bill to pay for this month! Hurrah!

Actually if I phone in the actual gas meter reading and they send an amended bill through I might get away with delaying it even longer.....

Thanks taxi. I didn't continue with the cleaning windows thing....I got absorbed by some of the threads on here all afternoon!

Oh - quick update....the job I went for has now been withdrawn as the person decided not to leave!

Ah well.....I shall continue to look.
