Ahhh some buyers just make me cry!

I had to open a dispute as a buyer had not responded after 10 days and 2 reminders being sent they then left it till yesterday the last day to pay before i could get the fees back and what do I find just now a message asking why they have not received there item. I have answered being very polite saying it was posted this morning but i still have a feeling my DSRS being hit and a neg.

  • sounds like the idiot i had recently, 2 reminders, paid at 00:32 friday, complains monday that it hasnt arrived yet, told him about the late payment and he claims he paid 3 days before the reciept states, so i send him a copy of the paypal reciept etc and he decides that there is something fraudulent going on. Wouldn't ebay be so much better without buyers, just limit it to the sellers.

I was in Halfords last week with money to burn to buy a Sat nav but needed an assistant for advice.

Couldn't find one to help and eventually interrupted someone tidying shelves who sent me back to the cash desk as 'it wasn't his section'. As I left I heard him complain to a different member of staff 'how was he supposed to keep the shelves stocked nicely when the stuff kept being sold and then he got interrupted by stupid customers when he tried to restock'.

I thought how odd, and left without my sat nav.

How rude of you to go to a shop to buy something :rotfl:

I often have emails from buyers a day after i email them saying i posted the item 2ND CLASS (same day in one case), asking where the item is. In 9/10 cases they are scammers and i have to refund them knowing they have the item. They are such grubby individuals they cannot even be bothered allowing a bit of time to make the case look genuine - i.e not claiming BEFORE there is any chance it could have arrived anyway.

Ebay does nothing, and in fact encourages them in my opinion - as they still get the fees. BBC's Watchdog program as a lot to answer for, for getting sellers banned from leaving negative feedback to warn others. There should at least be an indication - provided by Ebay on buyers feeback - saying how many non-reciept claims and late payments they have made.

Seriously , if this happens a lot to you then you need to stop selling and work out what is going wrong and why you attract these people. I lose very few parcels in the post and I believe that most of the lost parcels are just that, lost. I do not recall the last time I had a claim opened quickly on me.

I would not want to go back to a time where a seller could neg a buyer whose item was lost in the post.
