  • to be honest the daily changes of petrol is starting to really annoy me i pass 2 fourcourts everyday twice a day sometimes and there never seems to be a stable price on both forcourts, ive watched petrol rise 3p in one day with one forcourt then drop 2p in the afternoon and then by the evening back at 150, and diesel prices alter more than ever, ive seen it go upto 150 in one forcourt in the morning then 148 in the afternoon, then back again next day.

Get a bike and get fit while you are at it.

80% of people don't even need to drive to work.

We are a lazy nation who want to fall out of a car door to door and make needless journeys daily.

Now it's getting tough and will get worse. Pay up or pedal....

And what about that penny that ALWAYS gets added to EVERY transaction?!?!

Love putting the prices up, just to see people moaning about it a little bit more. Quiet simple, if you can't afford to fill up, don't drive. Chances are there are a very few number of people that really need their car.

    Chill out!

We've got a Royal Wedding to enjoy in less than a fortnight.

My God, we've paid for it in taxes & duty, so we may as well enjoy it.

And it promises to be the Biggest Royal Blow Out for 30 years.

BREAKING NEWS:Kate Middleton orders three different dresses from three designers, to maintain element of surprise on Big Day.

    That's another 5p on a litre!

We could also buy one of these! http://sorrybut.co.uk/

    Why are you blaming bankers?

Nowt, they're just doing their jobs.

The reason people are so annoyed is that they realise the banks are no longer subject to the same capitalist principles the rest of us have to live with. The bad ones should have been allowed to crash and burn just like any other failed company. I don't buy all this rubbish about bonuses, that's just a distraction, but we either have a capitalist system or we don't, companies should not be made special cases.

The real mugs are this government who squandered billions on 'giving' us all 1p off a litre of fuel, when it was always going to be eaten up by the system within weeks anyway. Well done guys, that money could have kept many more front-line service staff in work, or paid the debt off that bit quicker. But, no, you have to buy a few votes in the local elections.

Thing is that fuel prices have gone through the roof &, from what I can remember, the speed/severity of the increases wasn't forecast 6-12 months ago (could be wrong tho)

So... the amount of tax received per litre must be way in excess of what the Gov budgeted for!

Not forgetting that VAT was increased to 20% & we pay this on every litre... after adding the fuel duty of course, so we are being taxed on the tax so to speak.

Q.... where is all this extra dosh going? Can't this extra revenue be used to cut fuel duty & try to keep the price down?

£15 for a mug?? That's far more of a ripoff than 130-odd a gallon or whatever it is at the moment.
