Yes sorry folks- the green is horrendous isn't it. I can't read it either and I teach adults all about the importance of using the right font on the computer to make reading easier. :rotfl: :rotfl: Oops!!

  • Hi Guys!

Hope all is ok. Have had a stressful few days and although have been reading, couldnt post as feeling so low...but nevermind...Im ok today:D

OH & I cleared out the 3 drawers in the lounge and binned loads. Have got a large pile in the garage for a bootsale either just before or just after Xmas. Should make some money, but most items have either been on Ebay and not sold or too heavy to post.

Listed another 20 items on Ebay and many have watchers already. Have stuck a few Xmas Fold art ornaments I have had for a few months and should sell well. Have made about £250 this month...havent been this flush from ebay in a while;)

DW is on ATM. WM still broken but SIL did a large load last night and shes doing another tonight and FIL is doing a towel wash this afternoon for us. I called Comet and asked if they would pay compensation for using a launderette and they said no! Explained I have medical problems (which causes more washing)and being disabled is difficult to get out or be left etc but didnt budge. May be another 7 days before they even get the parts in:eek:

Fridge has been cleaned out and toilet cleaned. Have changed around some ornaments in the lounge as I needed a change of scenery and looks less cluttered.

OH went over to Waitrose yesterday and did a largish shop. Spent £65 but after voucher usage totalled to £23.50:D ...he bought alot of nice stuff though....why do men have to buy this and that:confused: Got some bits for the Xmas box..Lindt choccy, Luxury mince pies, brandy butter...etc etc.

Most Xmas shopping done. Have some nice booze, cheese and choccies...still need whatever we are serving for Xmas lunch but havent decided yet on what we are having. May get a couple of bits...thinking Goose and Gammon...maybe a small Turkey breast:confused: ..not sure.

Anyway, Im nattering. Hope evryone is well.

Good Afternoon All - Hope we are well

Well done to Taplady's Son on his success with his first Job!

    Welcome ethansmum!

uniforms just been ironed for work/school 2mr.
Stew cooking nicely in SC. will do the dumplings in a bit.

Work - well what can I say, I was early so I started 5 mins early, (hate sitting around), The manager was training all day in a different dept, and left the other girl (who spent all of y-day on the internet looking for car insurance) in charge !!!! My worst nightmare. She arrived 10mins late for work, then decided to check her emails if any of the insurance companies responed. Then she made some calls (work related for a change) . Then I turn round to see her on the internet AGAIN - but this time looking for private number plates (she aint got a ruddy car yet) Argh! As usual - I bit my tongue and carried on. By the afternoon - I totally had enough, and said "isnt it about time you got some proper work done" she laughed as she thought I was joking. Cant win - can I? Oh well - glad I finished at 2 - nearly the weekend.

Thoroughly enjoying IM A CELB! I think it will be close between David Jason! Any of those 2 win - I dont mind. Whats your opinion - if you've been watching.

Off now to do the school run,
Have a good evening all - take care
    Love as Usual
