Crazychik - I'm with you there. Why is that Matt still there? Can't abide him. Hope he doesn't win! LOL0

Well, I did get the mirror waxed today, but havve decided it needs another coat, so am leaving it to dry overnight then wax it again in the morning.
Other than that, didnt really have a great day. It started off so well and promisingly, got up early, but I just didnt have the heart to do anything today. Applied for a few jobs and got a couple of Ebay listings done. Wrote up a chapter more of James Martins cookbook.
Here's hoping tomorrow will be more productive. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Evening all, thought I'd just pop back for a minute.
AussieLass I didn't get my miracle, but I do look better!:rotfl:
Tonight I had one of those gut-wrenching moments! I'd been out to pick up a new camera I'd reserved ( broke the other one falling over with it in my hand on our Malta holiday, NO I hadn't been drinking!! It was only 10.15 am!!) Anyway after I'd collected that, thought I'd call in at the Supermarket for the odd essential, you know - chocolate and wine. Got that and a few boring bits, milk butter etc. Come to pay and my purse is not in my bag!! Cue cold sweat and panic!!! Lovely checkout operator is trying to be helpful and reassuring, calls to supervisor who says leave us to carry on packing it and you go back to your car, see if it's there. I ran out into the car park and spent the next 5 minutes running round like a headless chicken. Couldn't find the car!!!! When I eventually located it, I'd only been past it twice!! To cut a long story short, my purse was there, I'd dropped it in the boot when I'd put the camera away.:oI felt so embarrassed when I went back, but they were lovely, and so genuinely pleased that I'd found it. It really restores your faith in people to be treated so nicely.:D
Well best get back to another half hour of ironing, the mountain has grown a lot today, processed 4 loads of washing!!!
Good night,

Oh dear Churchmouse, doesn't sound good, next step will be the nursing home.
My hairdresser didn't perform miracles either other than making my money dissappear very quickly. I can at least go out in public now.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
paulie'sgirl i used to live in berwick-upon-tweed and went to lindisfarne for a day trip. i loved the island and the idea of being cut off by the tide - the only downpoints were when people missed the tide and when we had terrible weather cut off by snow and lindisfarne was cut off for over a week:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090
