Hi GAP,
Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, think you need between now and payday for a rest :rotfl:!!
Oohhh I love meeting up with people youve not seen in years. I have got in contact with some old school friends through facebook over the past few years. I love seeing how people have changed!!
Enjoy your afternoon, we have a bank holiday next Monday. Do you have that one too? xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks beanie
Hi mummy, yes I definitely need a rest! Could do with a further rest from work too :rotfl:. My girly, A, (we have been friends with since we were 3) went on a business trip to Bristol. She got on the plane and looked for a seat. There was a person sitting on her own so A asked if anyone was sitting beside her and when the person looked up it was D from school!! Hadn't seen each other in about 15 years! Funny how you lose touch with people. Anyway, since then we have met up twice now and it's great having the friendship back again
Oh goodness, I didn't realise that not doing washing for the weekend was going to result in the amount I have managed to collect for doing today  I am too embarrassed to disclose the amountWell LM is back now and she has had a good afternoon with Gap-sis and now wants a shot on the laptop. Another load just finished in the tumble so I will pass over the computer and go take the washing out before it gets crushed! Then going to make the tea and do some more washing

So, CB arrived in account today. Paid off the balance on the cc and have a little left (paid straight over to account for LM's needs). No cc bill after payday this month :j
Zumba tonight and have £4 ready for that
Tax credit day tomorrow so can get some groceries :T
Pay day on Thursday :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I feel very in control this month. Yes, I used the cc but only twice and only a small amount, not the usual couple of hundred
I did some housework yesterday and when Mr Gap came up last night he went into the kitchen and said "your house is spotless". Mr Gap never says things like that to me (to be fair, my house is never spotless) but the biggest laugh is, it wasn't spotless :rotfl:it just looked it because he is used to seeing things lying around
£1.30 to PAD today thanks to Gap-dad giving me a lift to work :T
I'm having a good week so far. Need to keep it up
Have a nice day everyone.

Hi GAP, im glad your feeling really good about everything at the mo. Youve worked hard and so you should :T. Yay to only using the CC twice and only for small amounts thats fab.
Cheeky Mr Gap saying hes never seen your house so spotless!!
Whats for tea tonight then? Something scrummy with it being CB day? xxMummytogirls x0 -
Mummy, I've had the problem of feeling down when actually everything in my life is good and I often feel a bit selfish as I know there are others in a much worse position than me. The good days are good though and there are more of them now :j
Mr Gap grew up in a spotless house with an OCD mother. He is not OCD himself but he does comment every now and then. Funny thing is, as I was telling Lost and Nervous, when I take a day off work to try to get to the bottom of the cleaning and tidying, Mr G always wants to come up and have a cup of tea and a blether. He works nights and I work days so we don't see that much of each other and sometimes it can be difficult to fit things in around the kids so I do know that he just wants to spend time with me when we get the opportunity, however, if I take time off to clean, I want to get it done!! If the house is untidy he mentions it. Just feels like I can't win sometimes
Gap-m & d's for tea tonight. We have always gone there on Sundays and Tuesdays since LM and I left ex-Mr idiot Gap. At first it was because we were so poor sometimes I couldn't afford food. Now really, it has become a tradition so we still do. Sometimes they come to us and now Gap-sis has her flat we will go to hers too. Also, with Gap-sis and I going to the zumba, Gap-parents look after LM for me while we go on a Tuesday night. :T
TC day tomorrow and that is when we get something nice for tea. Sometimes it is not anything particularly exciting its just that we can choose together and it doesn't have to be beans on toast just because we have run out of money!
Thank you for all your encouragement, it helps so much x x xMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

PAYDAY :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j (can you tell I'm pleased?)
Was 11p short on the cc  and minimum payment is £1 :mad: so paid the £1 across today (am now 89p in credit).
Made a MASSIVE (for me) PAD of £32.82 today which took my total PADs for the month (from payday to payday) to £69.42. Deduct this off my loan balance and deduct the standard payment of £148.61 (which comes off on 6th of month) and my new total for this month will be £3,200 (will update sig when std pymt comes off) :T Aiming for £51.39 in PADs each month to make up the monthly payment to £200.
Have paid all the manual bills and left enough in the account for the dd's and so's. Not very much left for the excess, however, anything is better than nothing and I learned a lesson from my excess experience last month (i.e. don't spend it so fast!)
Got groceries yesterday. I kept receipts this month for all my grocery spends as I was thinking of joining the grocery challenge. I totalled everything up and it came to £267  I was going to allow myself £200 for MayWill need to get working on bringing that down. Allowing £250 for June as have 5 TC days but need to look at reducing it over the next month or so.
Well better do some work now since I have been on MSE ALL MORNING!!!
Have a lovely day everyone
