Thanks mummy. Gap-sis is back tonight :j I am picking her up from the airport. I have checked the flight info and they are now due in an hour earlier than expected. She text me earlier to say she was on the plane 2 hours before they were supposed to leave! Can't wait to see her
Have spent some money today, a few bits and bobs and a house-warming present for Gap-sis. No money to PAD todayand no change for sealed pot
. I had to put air in the tyres and it cost me 50P!!! For air!!! Also had to put petrol in as didn't want to run out half way back from the airport! However, the good news is I used my DEBIT card for all of that (hence no change for pots and apart from the air money). 7 days into the month and I still haven't used the cc
. Also, even though I used the debit card today, there is still excess left! Woop woop! Things are good in Gap-land today
Off to read a few other diaries then think about heading for sis.

Hope your sis had a lovely holiday. How lovely to come back to her new flat with shiny clean bathrooms, although I do think she is being greedy needing twoJust keep swimming!0

I couldn't agree with you more Itsa! :rotfl: I said the same thing when we first found out she had got the flat. It is not humanly possible for her to use both bathrooms at the same time! On the other hand, she is good for babysitting and Little Miss has a habit of needing the toilet when someone else is in so they might come in useful then
Well, spent quite a lot today as was babysitting Step-Little Miss so that Mr Gap could go to work. Mr Gap's ex is away for the weekend so I offered to help out in the babysitting department. Had a reasonable day so that wasn't too bad. The girls didn't kill each other so that is a bonus :rotfl: but spent a fortune.
£1 to PAD today and 40p to sealed pot.
Back to work tomorrowOh the joy.

How old is step-little miss? Must be nice for Little Miss to have someone to play with. DD went to a friends house after school on Friday to play, I do try to have her friends round as often as possible as I don't want her to feel lonely being an "only".
This will be my first full week this week working for a while, and so it will probably seem like it goes on forever, but then I haven't got another full week for ages. It can be a bit of an inconvenience though as I lose track of what is going on and then end up having to try and cram 4 days of work into 5Just keep swimming!0 -
Step-Little Miss is 9 (there are 17 months between them, SLM was 9 in March and LM is 11 this October). They fight like cat and dog! It is quite difficult when they are together although they are getting better now than they used to be :T
I try to have Little Miss's friends over too although she hasn't had anyone round for a while. That is the trouble with working full time, there is just not enough time in the week
I lose track at work too sometimes. I know the time we finish and I know what I have to do but I always seem to be rushing at the last minute and end up leaving late  I am hoping once the money situation is under control I can start getting other areas of my life in order! Should really try starting with getting to bed a little earlier!
Right, yawning now so going to head to bed. Although will probably still be here in 15 minutes :rotfl:

Morning GAP,
sounds like youve had a lovely weekend. Well done you on getting 7 days into the month without using the credit card :T.
Hope you had a good sleep and are not yawning away this morning!!

Well I am at day 9 of not using cc :T I have £10 in purse to last tomorrow (£4 for zumba but shouldn't need anything else) and then it is tax credit day on Wednesday :j Also, CSA money has finally come through for this month (usually get it around 4th of month) so if I get really stuck I can use some of that. I like to keep it for stuff for Little Miss but I do have to include food in that if necessary
She does need new gym shoes and new trousers so will do that at weekend.
£1.30 to PAD today - thanks Mr Gap  (that is what he looked like when he picked me up today, we had lovely sunshine most of the day and he had his sunnies on! - He is not bald though :rotfl:)
Had to get some messages today for lunch stuff for us for the week. Didn't get a chance to do it on Sunday. I ate rubbish at work today (finish at 2pm on Mondays so don't get a lunchtime) biscuits, crisps and coke  but did manage to give Little Miss a sandwich and packet of crisps. Even when we have a little money, desperation still kicks in!
Unfortunately the excess is now goneI helped Gap-sis with a couple of things for her flat. I don't mind helping because she has helped me a lot over the years and now it is my turn to help her. I still don't intend to touch the cc at the moment and if I do have to it will only be a little. Will keep trying not to for as long as possible though
That's it for today.

Having a bit of a low day today
It just feels like all the things in my life are floating around in my head. I need to get them all on a piece of string to pull them all together. It will happen eventually but it just seems a struggle to get there. I am absolutely exhausted today and have been all day but there is no apparent reason for it. Never mind.
Anyway, just 30p to PAD today (no lifts, just had that left in my purse) and 5p to sealed pot (don't want to put 5p's in my PAD at the moment).
Looking forward to tomorrow, it's got to be better than today

I feel a bit the same today, I keep getting indigestion which is annoying me, and had a productive morning at work but it all went a bit !!!! up when I got home and I have only managed to run the vacuum round and that was about it. And I am starving, does nothing for my mood. We normally eat as a family at 6.30pm but OH is late from work and I stupidly said I would wait for him. I would normally be famished by now but being on a diet my stomach thinks my throat has been cut
Although so far a no spend dayJust keep swimming!0 -
Itsa, thank you for your post. I wouldn't wish a low day on anyone but it is nice to know that I'm not the only one feeling like that. I had a headache last night before I went to bed, it was still there this morning and got worse as the day went on. It has just gone now. I nearly had a NSD but at 4pm my body was screaming out for Red Bull so I relented and bought one. Funny thing is, I started to feel better after that. Probably got a serious problem now! :rotfl:So that was a £1.65 spend today. Ate enough today and slightly productive at work but not that much. Going to force myself to put a wash in now and run the vaccum round the livingroom (it BADLY needs done
)
Hope OH gets in soon so you can get something to eat. Hunger is not a good thing, I can remember from the days of not eating so that Little Miss could eat. Glad those days are over
Talking of Little Miss, she is pestering me to get on the laptop for half an hour so I better move. Thank you for the motivation (I feel guilty for not vaccuming!)
