Yesterday when I was standing at the bus stop just about to get on the bus, a woman came up to me and handed me a day ticket! I checked the date and it was for yesterday so I got a free ride home! How kind of her. As it is said, what goes around comes around. I have given away day tickets when I have been finished with them in the past so that is some nice karma for me
Hooray to people who pass on their tickets :T
I got a lift into work yesterday so no bus fare there. This morning I got the bus but this afternoon I am walking (working until 5pm as my colleague has an exam).
Made up two rolls this morning for lunch but I am so hungry I will [STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] definitely eat them in the next half hourMeans I will have to buy something for lunch but it is better for me that I eat than I don't eat.
The sun is shining again

Ha! I did this on Tuesday. It was my first day back after two weeks and was out of routine when to eat and not so felt starving by 10.30 so ate my lunch then at 12.30 walked to the shop for crisps and chocolate! Oops!
I also applaud the kind ticket lady, yay for small money saving opportunities. xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Mummy, yes, I did eat the rolls. I couldn't help it. I really, really enjoyed them as well. I had nice ham on them from Mr M's, very tasty. I walked a bit too fast home I think - not used to the exercise!
Loumac, I do this every now and then. Sometimes I am not hungry at all, other times I could eat the whole of the sandwich shop next door!
I joined PAD yesterday and will be starting to PAD soon. Sooner than originally expected as I have leftover bus fares from April :T
Walked home yesterday and felt absolutely exhausted by the time I got home. Am doing the zumba on a Tuesday night and have been for four weeks now, hoping to get more energy from that but realising just how unfit I really am. I usually walk home with my friend two days a week who comes to the office to meet me (she has a dog and says he needs to be walked regardless of whether she does it on her own or meets me to do it) but she is away on holiday for 4 weeks so I will have to get the motivation to do it on my own for a bit. It is a long boring walk on my own but my motivation is not giving the bus company £1.30 each time I walk!
Blethering a bit now. Must get on as finishing at 2pm today since I worked late yesterday.

Just a quick one, got a lift home from Mr Gap today. He usually picks me up Mondays and Wednesdays when I finish at 2pm. I worked late yesterday and finished early today so he picked me up today instead! An extra £1.30 to go to PAD.
SO!! I PAD'd for the first time today :T (this time round anyway) and plan to do so as often as I can. £8.20 to PAD today - leftover bus fares from April

Nothing happening at all here today
I decided I wasn't going to watch the wedding but Little Miss got up before me this morning and by the time I got through there was no computer on and no children's programmes on the tv (this is not normal!) she was sitting watching the build up to the wedding!! We ended up sitting watching it together.
We were going to have a pyjama day but Gap-mum called and reminded me that Little Miss has a swimming lesson today (I keep thinking it is Saturday!) so Gap-dad has said he will pick her up and take her to swimming (he normally takes her when I am at work) and also bring her back so I don't have to get out of my jammies :T - lazy moo that I am. Although, I will use the time that she is away to clear up the dishes from breakfast and lunch and put a load of washing in.
I think we will be extra lazy tonight and get a takeawayIt will come out of our weekly food budget, I haven't dipped into the excess yet!
I am enjoying the lovely long weekend and so far it is only Friday :j
Have a good one

ooohh sounds like youve had a lovely chilled out day GAP. Woohoo to Mr GAP picking you up yesterday so you could PAD your bus fare :T.
OOhhh what take away you having? Enjoy x x xMummytogirls x0 -
You've gotta love a good pyjama day! Glad the weekend has started well, enjoy the rest of it! xWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0

Thanks Loumac, you too
We had a very lazy day yesterday and I feel really good today.
Mummy, we ended up not getting a takeaway. Little Miss wanted one but I managed to talk her out of it. We had egg and chips insteadI haven't had that for years and we had eggs which were going to be out of date soon so I thought it would be best to use them up and also spend no money! Very MSE! So NSD yesterday!
We dropped Gap-sis at the airport this morning, she is off on a hen week to Cyprus. Not bad for some eh? Although she didn't get a holiday last year because she had two mortgages to pay until her houses were sold so she totally deserves it. My sis is one of the nicest, kindest, sweetest people you could ever meet. I wish I was more like herSo, because we didn't get a takeaway last night we had enough money to stop at Mr T's on the way back and got rolls and bacon for breakfast and also mince for the tea tonight. I'm quite pleased with myself!
We will have a takeaway another night. It's not like we do it often so I shouldn't feel so guilty when we do.
Had change for my sealed pot this morning :T
Have a nice day everyone.

I have spent quite a lot of money unnecessarily this weekend
:o I need to focus again as of tomorrow. Back to work and no more holidays for me until 23rd (we get a public holiday for some reason). Need to work on my PAD and keep adding change to my sealed pot.
Had a quiet but lovely weekend with Little Miss. We have actually done quite a lot of walking (well, technically scooting in Little Miss's case!) Went down to the beach yesterday. The wind was freezing. The sun was shining but I was cold. Went to a different beach today and started walking with the intention of getting an ice cream when we reached the other end of the beach but half way along we were both freezing and Little Miss said she would rather have got an ice cream at the van at the end the car was parked at and sat in the warm car to eat it. We about-turned and went straight to the ice cream van. I was parked right next to it!
Going to supervise bathtime now and get ready for bed.
