Thanks mummy. That came out of the money Mr G gives me :)

    Just £2 to PAD today.

Been a quiet weekend, just pottering and getting washing and tidying up done. Not been on here at all since Friday

Off to try and reduce Mount Washmore :(:o

    Gap x
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000
  • We must have matching Mount Washmores :p I have now done three loads of washing today and am contemplating a fourth but that will have to be a tumble drier jobby if I put another one on because I haven't got anymore room to put anymore wet washing. It is so windy here though it should dry quite quickly.

I am going to try and start PADing properly from tomorrow so I will come along and see you on the PAD thread. Even if it is only £1.00 per day, this per month would be an extra £31.00 per month off one card or another.

I did spend a little on myself yesterday though, I treated myself to the new Maroon 5 album off Itunes (£7.99 ). I think I might just be a little bit in love with Adam Levine - he would definitely be on my list of 5 ;).
    Just keep swimming!
  • Lots of mount washmores :D! Im on my 3rd load of today!! x

I put a third load in yesterday and washed it but was too exhausted to even put it in the TD :o In my defence, I am having tests done by my GP at the moment to try to figure out why I am tired ALL THE TIME!! Will have to wash that load again  At least it is all in the machine already and I don't have to collect it off LM's bedroom floor

    £1.30 to PAD today.

Every penny counts Itsa. Some people (myself included) just PAD pennies when we don't have anything else. It is really addictive. Oooh just re-read your post and am laughing at your tumble dryer jobby!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, all bus fares from this week are going to PAD :D

Little Miss has been really good by not complaining and by walking round to school herself in the mornings (I usually walk to the bus stop with her and I can see the school from there). I saw my neighbour let her little girl, who is a year younger than LM, walk round herself the other morning so I'm sure it will be fine. I am just a little overprotective.

Mr G has cooked dinner a couple of times (always chicken, he can't cook anything else :rotfl:) and he has been doing dishes. I have a dishwasher (couldn't live without it, I hate dishes) but he won't use is and washes them by hand. They are not as clean as I would have them but I can't really complain because at least he is making an effort and doing things as he goes along (not much I might add but little things).

My lovely friend just sent me a text saying "open your front door" I expected her to be there but there was a Mr M's bag with mini babybel, lucozade and 2 magazines in it. How thoughtful. I am so bored with daytime tv, I used to love Jeremy Kyle, it always made me feel better about myself, but now I am nearly screaming at the tv because they are so stupid. So, a couple of mags will be good to read tomorrow :)

That is just like the kind of friend you want, how lovely.

    Get well soon chick xx

I am back. Thank you for your wishes. I feel better than last week but I am not perfect yet. Back at work today so I will be on every day again now :D

Managed to PAD £20 in total in the past few days.

I was hoping to use some of my emergency fund to clear the last of the loan. I have realised in the past few days that if things had been any worse I would have needed that emergency fund to cover my wages. Scary.

Anyway, off to catch up with work :(
