Yes, I have a huge bruise but I have had quite a lot of sympathy for it :D She did find that I am anaemic and my liver enzyme is high (?) but other than that, it seems that I am a useless fop with no stamina!!

Toby was great last night. Our nearest one is about 25 minutes away from us. The car is still in the garage so we had to get the bus last night but there is one directly from our house to there although it took us 40 minutes to get there. Well worth it though ;)

Sadly though, it is just about all gone :( I had a small balance on the cc and a small balance on the next account (used for work clothes). Still, all bills are covered and the cc and next are paid off. Will just have to be tight this month.

£25.39 to PAD today made up of 12 x £2 coins, a £1 coin and 39p from salary. Usually I make up about £20 odd quid from my salary but due to my sporadic but slightly larger PADding this month I have beaten my target by £50 :T which is £10 more than I beat it by last month!

Off to pay my PAD money into the bank at lunchtime and post off the loan cheque. Feels good :D

  • Great news about the over-PADding! Glad you did manage to make some payments even with being the counterupper!

  • Looking forward to 6th so I can update my sig.

£1.10 to PAD today. I am only counter upper for another couple of days. I can't believe how fast this month has gone.

Getting a delivery from Mr T tonight. They had a first time purchaser £10 off offer.

Starting to think about the C word as well. I have to start organising now or it will be a disaster. I have started buying a couple of bits but I need to get my list organised (it changes every year - people keep having babies!!)

    Och well, back to work!

  • I've been thinking about C as well! I like to craft and make my own presents so I'm starting early this year - my hands were a mess last year.

  • Yay to three stars :T

Am also starting to think about C and have started getting little bits. Little Itsa is quite easy to buy for, anything pink! Even better if it has a Hello Kitty on it :D
    Just keep swimming!
  • Thanks girls :)

I don't think I could make my own stuff mrsb. I am not very creative :( Good for you though! It is lovely to receive stuff that that has thought and love put into it :D

Itsa, you probably already know but I think Claires Accessories has loads of Hello Kitty stuff, they used to anyway.

I need to sit LM down and have a chat about presents. It is her birthday in 3 weeks so I usually try to organise it so that presents are spread between the two.

    £1.30 to PAD today.

Car is fixed. It cost £426  :(:(:( I only had £250 put aside. I have had to dig into my emergency fund. I am glad I have it. I know we are supposed to pay of debts with savings but I have put a little aside in case of these things. I would have had to put it on the cc and then would have been charged interest on it as there is no way I would have been able to pay that back at the end of the month. Oh well, there is a lifetime guarantee on the clutch.

    That's it for now.

  • So sorry about your car, GAP. Garage bills frighten me which is why I have far too much set aside every month in my 'car maintenance' fund. I know that logically I should be paying debt down with it but I can't do it!

Speaking of Hello Kitty -I nearly bought this for myself because it's so cute!
