    Morning!

£1.30 to PAD today. Took the car to Gap-Sis's flat, parked it there and walked the rest of the way to save me bus fares. It is my car and I pay for everything it needs but GS uses it a lot (I pay the insurance for both of us) so she puts petrol in most of the time. Will do the same tomorrow and save bus fare there too.

Mr G's birthday tomorrow but got his present all wrapped ready. Ooh, need to get a card. Will be taking him out for dinner on Saturday night (he is working tomorrow night) and the kids are coming with us so that will be nice - Hello credit card! :(

    Have a nice day all.

Well that is Mr G's first night over. It's funny because I was feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing before now but I was actually really happy last night. He went to work for a bit and finished early and when he came in I got up and gave him a kiss to "welcome him home" and he thought something was wrong :rotfl: His birthday today but he was still sleeping when we left so I put out breakfast dishes for him (including the tea bag in the cup - he better not get too used to that!!) and left his card and present beside them. So far so good. Hope he likes the present though.

£1 to PAD today. I usually walk home on Fridays but I am pretty exhausted with all the moving and clearing stuff so I am treating myself to the bus today!

That's it for now. Have a good weekend everyone :D

    Thanks ladies :D

He got up this morning and didn't even notice the cup with the tea bag and the rest of the dishes laid out until he had already poured himself a cup of tea (??) They were almost underneath the cupboard with the dishes in them, he would have had to have leaned over them to get more out the cupboard.

I'm actually surprised he is still with me, I'm such a grumpy cow sometimes ;)

He LOVED the helicopter!!! He was really chuffed, so was I :)

He is working tonight and won't finish until late so I have been doing some sorting and tidying in the house. It is still worse than a pig sty :o

Tomorrow night we are going out for dinner to Toby Carvery. We are taking LM and SLM with us so that will be good. I'm going to pay but it shouldn't be too expensive. I will be putting it on the cc :o but I will be keeping a very close eye on that this month.

    Have a lovely weekend all.

    xx

Didn't go to Toby last night, went to a different restaurant slightly nearer us (less petrol). The bill came to £62 for the four of us with 4 mains, 3 desserts, 3 cokes and 3 bottles of budweiser (at £2.99 each ) LM and I took a cake along earlier in the day and we surprised Mr G with it, candles and everything. He was quite pleased.

SLM stayed over last night for the first time in our home. It was fine and the girls were actually quite good. LM hurt herself a couple of times but I think she overdid it a bit for the attention. I need to try to give her more attention when SLM is here. I have explained though that when SLM is not here, LM gets my full attention (except when I am asleep under the blanket in front of the tv!!) and she does realise that.

£1.35 to PAD today, some small change into the sealed pot yesterday and also got 2 £2 coins yesterday which have gone in the holiday handbag for the time being but will be PADded at the end of the month.

Right, that is me caught up with everyone so am off to do yet more tidying and sorting. Got washing in, dishes done and done some cleaning. Going to make cottage pie for tea in an hour or so. I feel like a proper housewife today!

Enjoy the rest of Sunday everyone.
