Car has gone in for MOT this morning. I have to pick it up at 11.30am. I totally trust the guy who does it. I know he won't rip me off. It might need a couple of things but I'm not overly worried.

Nothing to PAD today so far. If the MOT doesn't cost too much then I will have money left over from the budget for that and I will PAD some.

Nice day here, hope it lasts.

Have a great weekend everyone :D

Car passed with colours, not particularly flying but colours none the less. Car needs a new clutch at some point soon so Bill at the garage is going to price one for me. I trust him, it will be the best deal he can get, also maybe a couple of tyres in the next few months but nothing major.

Going to pledge £10 to PAD for today (today is now Sunday) as I realised that I had included the MOT in next months salary and my wage cheque doesn't clear until Wednesday!!!

Right, bed now as Mr G is moaning (remember, he knows about my loan but he doesn't know about me coming on here!)

    Night everyone xx

Yes mummy, it is a relief. I need to put some money aside for the new clutch but I'm not overly worried. I had budgetted £250 for the MOT and it only cost me £40!! I have been taking my car to Mechanic Bill since I moved here 3 years ago and the garage is at the end of the road from my flat. LM and I walk past every school morning. He knows LM as he has grandchildren around the same age so he always blethers away to her. He is a nice man. He gave her £5 in coins for pocket money because she is away overnight with Gap-Parents tonight (near Liverpool) so the MOT was only really £35!

Hen night last night. Was good and the food was lovely. Mr G picked me up at 9.45pm so it wasn't a late night out but we sat and blethered and had a couple of drinkies in the house, hence not getting to bed until after 2am

Going to have a read at some other diaries now then I have to go and get sorting stuff out. I'm fairly certain Mr G is going to move in and it will be during next week so I have to get stuff moved to make space for him. I'm sure it is going to be fine. It is the lack of space which is going to be the problem but we will get there. I want to make it work, I love him to bits.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone xxx
