Yes - i sent a couple of vouchers and receipts to my daughter who is studying at uni 120 miles away. They accepted them in her local Mr T without question. As you can imagine she was chuffed to bits with them and is asking if I have anymore 'spare'!

I have done this too, she loves it, lots of extra treats :T
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D

Well I say I will stand my ground.
They abused me of getting DTD because of they fault why do they have that policy in the first place?
Then they should say we will give you DTD but we will abuse u in some way so your choice come here or not.

Doeas anyone know Cs email or philip email to complain.
I will go and i will shop in there but if they overcharge me again I have a right to call a police if they start this again.
Will see how big show that could be.:rotfl:

As someone who is currently banned (for exceeding £100 dtd limit, and arguing about an overcharge on an item), I would say think about it. I went in guns blazing, knowing my legal rights.

Welcome to Tesco, where you leave your legal rights at the door.:(

Probably be better off not complaining about the service, but finding a couple more overcharged items. Either way they might ban you (perhaps unlikely) but at least you get something out of one of them.

Ye just wondered what the deal was, loving the current promo :D
Would the overcharge dtd apply to promos, a week or so ago I got the 3 for 1 ice cream and went through the SS which didn't take of the discount went to CS and they refunded and rescanned, said offers don't always work on SS. Should I have gotten DTD??

P.S I know it's too late to do anything now, just informing myself for future rip offs :D

Yes you are right, you should have been given DTD. However I have heard that the policy doesn't apply to Self Service - unless that is a Tesco'ism. I've always gone through the tills.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies

Also, the wetwipes are really useful for cleaning your hands before eating. You have to be super strict when eating as it is so easy to get food poisioning in the Middle East - I have served there so I know.
Now debt free and working towards saving my 1st £1000!
