I've noticed a few posts about incorrect SEL prices and getting DTD from CS, whats the deal with this? not heard about this

basically if a sel is incorrect and you're overcharged then you can go to cs and their policy is to give you DTD

i.e. if sel says £1 and you're actually charged £2 at the till then they will give you DTD back.

Strictly speaking though I wouldn't bother with it with this current DTD scheme it's much more 'beneficial' shall we say :-)
28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A

Some of the posts on here are hilarious. My friend went in the huff because SHE bought the wrong Dishwasher tablets! I told her in a TEXT message that it was the 12.98 packet............ she bought the 9.98 and moaned at me............. then I had my other friend raving about it because she bought the jura whisky and now has 16.00 voucher to her name..............

I put it all down to experience, I am not going outwith my normal shopping, I do my thu or fri shop and look for stuff that i buy every week, and im now getting my shopping but better items, and a DTD voucher ranging from 3.00 up to 20.00. Only extra I bought were cleaning products for when i move to my new house. I am still trying to stay in my 30.00 budget.

I would like to say a huge thanks :T to all of you guys who help make this work. :)

Thanks to you, me and my friend now have 20.00, 16.00, and 7.98 vouchers for our holiday food shopping...................... so it will prob be FREE :) thanks Mr T :T

This is why I don't try telling my friends anymore, spending my money is fine but would hate to put them on the wrong track.

Well I say I will stand my ground.
Thay abused me of me getting DTD because of they foult why do they have that policy in the first place?
Then they should say we will give you DTD but we will abuse u in some way so your choice come here or not.

Doeas anyone know Cs email or philip email to complain.
I will go and i will shop in there but if they overcharge me again I have a right to call a police if they start this again.
Will see how big show that could be.:rotfl:

You are on their private property, so unless they physically assault you then the Police will have nothing to do with it. Trust me. You are best disappearing under the Radar for a little while, or you could quite possibly be banned.

I just did a search online and found this:
Shopper Discounts & Rewards is an online savings, discount and protection programme, for people who shop online regularly. It’s free for the first 30 days so you can try it out, and after that it’s £10 per month. This gives you access to a wide range of benefits including up to 10% off at over 800 online retailers. The programme is owned and operated by a company called Webloyalty who runs consumer savings and discount programmes, such as Shopper Discounts & Rewards. Webloyalty offers consumers who make a purchase at online retail and travel company websites (Webloyalty clients) the opportunity to join the programme and benefit from the variety of fantastic discounts it offers.
How do I cancel or claim a refund?
It is not a problem, we can easily cancel your membership if you wish to and we will provide a refund upon request. If you want to cancel your membership you can do so via one of the following channels:
• A free phone customer service telephone number staffed by UK based representatives 6 days a week – 0800 731 9935
• A Customer Service Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, available 24/7
• Email – customerservice@shopperdiscountsandre...
• Website – www.shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk

It sounds like a scam to me. As its not a DD and it is being taken out fo your acct it is a debit charge. Therefore another way to cancel is to cancel your debit card.

i try to get them to refund it not possible apparently ,...... i got all my money back of the fraud squad

Off topic, but isn't that a paid for service similar to Quidco, TCB etc that you sometimes get encouraged to sign up for (under the guise of you have qualified for a free offer for the next month, paid for after, after registering online for different sites (think we had it when we signed up to MandMdirect). URL to contact them is http://www.shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk/Features/Common/ContactUs.rails.

Thank you so much, been a member since Nov last year, hadn't even realised and paying £10 a month! I'm normally so carefully about signing up to things! It must have been connected to M&Mdirect as I ordered a few things from them before Christmas. All cancelled now, will check to make sure next month.

Thanks very much Anon! Just looked back, so many of you replied while I was checking out the site Anon linked to, you're all great, thanks alot, now we better get back to DTD or we'll all be in trouble, lol.

Out of interest. Is it true what I have been told, that all meat etc is just binned, when returned, as you have no idea how it has been kept?
