  • They r lots of dtders in my area check for pancakes and iams always out of stock, need to get there earlier lol

I sometimes sneak a peek in others baskets lol but i feel im being a tad nosey....though there was once i went shopping and bumped into my boss and he quite obviously looked into my trolley when there was an upcoming party and deal on alcohol so my contents were all liquid apart from a few packets of large doritos which i had non subtly tried to hide some of the bottles with after many odd looks from other customers after seeing my bottles. I dunno why but i suddenly felt like a naughtly schoolgirl and went so red (i had a about 30 litres) and he gave me one of those looks lol and said am i working you too hard?! Can see the funny side of it now but i remember thinking ground swallow me up....

I try not to look in others baskets and the DTD items are all stocked in my local store so dont htink there are many around in my area....

Thank you so much, been a member since Nov last year, hadn't even realised and paying £10 a month! I'm normally so carefully about signing up to things! It must have been connected to M&Mdirect as I ordered a few things from them before Christmas. All cancelled now, will check to make sure next month.

Thanks very much Anon! Just looked back, so many of you replied while I was checking out the site Anon linked to, you're all great, thanks alot, now we better get back to DTD or we'll all be in trouble, lol.

basically if a sel is incorrect and you're overcharged then you can go to cs and their policy is to give you DTD

i.e. if sel says £1 and you're actually charged £2 at the till then they will give you DTD back.

Strictly speaking though I wouldn't bother with it with this current DTD scheme it's much more 'beneficial' shall we say :-)

Ye just wondered what the deal was, loving the current promo :D
Would the overcharge dtd apply to promos, a week or so ago I got the 3 for 1 ice cream and went through the SS which didn't take of the discount went to CS and they refunded and rescanned, said offers don't always work on SS. Should I have gotten DTD??

P.S I know it's too late to do anything now, just informing myself for future rip offs :D

Sorry, I know this isn't really the place to ask but I have been keeping up with the thread and doing my DTDing, and I've noticed alot of clued up folk on here. So... would any of you know what SHOPPERSDISCOUNTS.CCD is, £10 debited from account at the same time every month for the past 3 months, haven't a clue what it's for and can't stop it as not a DD. Again sorry for posting here but any ideas greatly appreciated. TIA

Sorry if already answered but this is a big scam. There is already a humongous thread about it. Long and short is, you ring them and tell them you did not give authorisation for this. They will refund you your payments.

Lots of the big sites do something along the lines of 'for £10 off your next purchase click here'. One click and you're paying them each month...

Sorry to go OT but feel very strongly about this rogue company.

Anyway after being here til 1.30am yesterday, I promised myself I would be asleep by midnight, so it's nite nite from me, thanks all for the hard work/posts and an extra thanks to SS editors.
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A

Seems a cruel and unusual punishment to send fray bentos pies to anyone... they have gotta have better food over there... or maybe they could use them as weapons to throw at the enemy.:T

Soldiers in Afghanistan love pot noodles, packet soups etc, toothpaste, shaving cream, razor blades, wet wipes and sun lotion. Do not send chocolate or sweets...they are just a melted mess when they arrive...as for fray bentos pies, they weigh to much to send...and no-one would eat them...(they take too long to prepare).
Now debt free and working towards saving my 1st £1000!

Very interesting story. The way I see it is that the chances are 'many' people picked up the washing powder before you, unaware that Tesco had been so 'slap dash' to leave the incorrect price up. They have gained from those people - wrongly in my view.

So what is the difference in you benefiting from the situation? I would say you were quite within your rights to do what you did. My past time used to be exactly the same. BUT you must remember. It is their store. It isn't unheard of for them to ban customers. Might be a good idea to let it rest and try a few other Tesco's - if that's possible!!;)

this is why i cant check tesco groceries online because tesco manager has decided that my address is a business address because in his eyes i was bulk buying shampoo when the glitch was "3 for £2" instead of "3 for 2" and after a huge debate at the time i asked him how many items was " bulk buying" and he said it depended on the circumstances but as a general rule it was 12.......following week the same shampoo is then 3 for £10 and i then go instore and ask him can i buy 20 lots of 3 for £10 shampoo and he says yeah of course you can with a blank expression cos he cant remember what he had previously quoted.......and im off on one ....oh i see i can buy them when your ripping me off because they are 3 for £10 but not when they were 3 for £2 and they are only £1.99 in Home Bargains so 5 for £10 and stand there until he stomps off muttering and i just laugh and leave the trolly full of shampoo and other shopping.....:rotfl:
