Pigpen -Can't you refer yourself to Physio? We can here although you may have the baby before you get seen as I referred myself in October Got a assessment appt on 23rd dec and am waiting for followup appt. Got a letter today to say I am near the top of the waiting list and if I still require an appt to reply by 4th May!!!!!! So in other words no appt before then.

Anyway flying - I have been supersonic today:D
I got 2 loads of washing linedried (incl jeans), shredded 3 big bags of paperwork I no longer need
    and drumroll please......
I managed to escape from girls bedroom before lunch having cleared floor, hoovered every nook and cranny, and sorted boxes under their bed - basically everything in their room was taken out(except clothes in wardrobe) and only what was clean and needed went back. I am off to tip tomorrow with rubbish accumulated. DD(9) helped with the dusting bless her and by the end of the easter break I intend to go through their wardrobe again to sort outgrown clothes - they grow at an alarming rate. Ds's room was far easier - done in 10 mins
Hence I didn't get in playroom at all but it will wait till next week!!

Right so first week as a newbie has passed without too much drama. Thankyou for the motivation you lot provide, it has helped, my house has never been this clean. Now keeping it that way is the next challenge.

well done chocolateteddy - decluttering IS the way forward IMO - and, as you say, the jobs you have not yet done WILL wait

Heck no!!!!!!! We are living in the 1800's here!!

The MW filled the forms in 5 weeks ago and was supposed to send them in.. as of today there is no record of that happening though in my notes she has written I requested it!

Squeak is very cute.. but she is incredibly loud!! I am hoping we have a few days of lovely baby again.. she has barely eaten for 2 days.. though devoured a fish finger earlier and the only thing we can get down her are yoghurts.. good job I have lots!!! Hopefully the rest of her teeth will come through without issue especially if sore ears are going to be her teething thing.. not as bad as DD1 who got pneumonia with them but still not good!

That sounds good yorkie - she's a good writer.

We're going to Stafford shortly and then I may pop to Hanley this afternoon as I want some new glasses.

Happy Birthday LL - hope you have a lovely day with lots of spoons.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,
DD did brilliantly last night doing the electric slide and i'm so proud of her. The night went well altogether and thats the club finished now until october. Now i am going to find the summer clothes today and get them washing. Plan is hopefully to head up to the beach for a couple of days over easter but i want the house decluttered and spotless before we even think of going.

Plan today is all about the boys room and dw needs to go on now as we've no dishes left. :o
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Sending you birthday wishes and spare spoons, L-L.

We've woken up to a bright and sunny day. I'm so glad I didn't throw yesterday's two lots of washing in the TD, as they can go out in a bit.

Plan for today (not necessarily in that order):
    breakfast - done
    laundry - WIP
    DW - on
make DS1 tidy space at bottom of loft stairs
    bath and dressed
2 HHCs each in bedroom done 1, bathroom done 1, DS2's room done 1, back yard/garden
walk into little town centre with DS2 for top-up shop and exercise
    school stuff
    HW with DS2
phone hotel re DH's reunion weekend - need to phone back after 1pm
car stuff (please fling fluffy mule if this is still on the list by teatime)
    bake a cake or two
    plan tea

Looks like a busy day, so I'll make a start. Need to decide what I'll have for breakfast.

Hope everyone is ok and has a nice, sunny day today. x
