My sister never ceases to amaze me. BF proposed while they are on holiday (I had a sneaking suspicion that was the plan). She's just e-mailed that she's getting married on Monday while out in Thailand. There go my bridesmaid hopes. I'm really happy for her but I imagine my mum is distraught.
ETA - If you know me on FB please DON'T mention this. She wants it kept quiet so she can tell people herself.

Happy birthday Lady Liberty
Lots to get done today, mostly plan to spend it in the garden weeding though as I will spend the rest of the year regretting it otherwise. Slept really badly though so need to be realistic about what I can do. Good morning everybody, not much flying was done yesterday as OH and I decided to take kids out for a day out after the kids had been to the Dentist. Great day was had by all at the park and everybody was knackered as we walked there and back 7 miles in total.
This was my first week with the Flylady's and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself so a big thankyou to everybody for the warm welcome I have had. It is amazing how much you get done without even realising when you are following the daily lists, not even got everything done and the house is looking so much better already. I am now going to potter away doing some things I have missed until it is time to go to work tonight.

I feel for you - my sister has been married twice and I've never been considered for a bridesmaid...yet she was my first choice.
Hope your mum takes it OK.
Happy Birthday to LL!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all
Left the kitchen in a right mess last night after cooking soup, cakes, dinner etc so had to face that this morning. Just about done now and DW on.
Kids all at different sporting things right now, DH has done the lifts so far but I need to pick up DS1 at 11 so I'll have a shower, put the washing on and head off trying to make time to drop some stuff at the scrap store and look for a few bits there at the same time.
No flying planned as the sn is shining I want to make a start on the front garden. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
