    Afternoon all

I've done lots of vacuuming today and moved a huge pile of rubbish from one part of the garden to another so I could mow the lawn. My washing machine is back in, so tomorrow I can start catching up on the washing. Am v. excited ;) I have flooring in the kitchen and the cooker is in place but I'm refusing to use it until the kitchen is complete. It's not very often I get an excuse not to cook. Got a new board in the electric box too and new sockets in the kitchen. Still lots to do but it's all progress.

Blind man came to remeasure and is making blinds, hopefully they'll be installed next Wednesday. Freezer comes Monday, table and chairs being delivered Thursday.

I thought I'd be more stressed but I think I'm just past caring.....

Not caught up yet so I hope everyone's OK. It had better be dry tomorrow for my washing!

Soappie - everything crossed for you whatever you decide to go with

Boys finished for Easter today so at least the pressure is off on the ironing front for a few weeks. So far I have done zilch, nada, nil other than put together an apple braid. SS1 came in at 1am, set off the dogs barking, then set them off again at 5.30am going to work. Second time this week. I have an insomnia problem and I just don't go back to sleep which in turn impacts on my joints problem. Exhausted and ready to scream :mad::mad: Pity my poor H who is piggy in the middle on this :(

ETA One thing I will make myself do tonight is find the amp to go with the electric guitar for boy band camp for 6am tomorrow, and Sunday. We also have a full drum kit, an out of tune ukelele and two boys who have inherited my complete lack of singing talent.

I have been busy, busy, busy - visited my sister yesterday so have done nothing in Valli Towers. As a result of this I shall rename the ole homestead THE PIT OF DOOM
I have, however put up 'new' curtains in my bedroom which have been resussicated (sp??) from some very expensive ones my sister passed on to me last year. There's enough fabric for a runner for my bed and still another whole curtain to go at - thinking either a pair for DS's room or the lounge...
More e bay stuff gone too so not a total failure

I am going to do the bathroom. Now. I may well be flying solo...
