    I've been Money Tipped!
    Congratulations double mummy!
I tend to only do wedding stuff at the weekends and in the holidays, although I come on here in the week my brain is too frazzled to think about things much!
How are you getting on with planning?

I'm feeling quite stressed! Just under 6 weeks left and still have lots to do!

I've only got 2 weekends free between now and the wedding. I'm REALLY looking forward to having my weekends back after it's all over!

I can see why some people just buy everything and don't bother with DIY projects for their weddings!

Lots to sort out at work too which doesn't really help. Bring on the last few days when they will all just be watching films and tidying up! :D

Eeeek Hellie! Not long now! I can't wait until I've finished for the hols, I have to move classrooms and thankfully my wedding's not for another year, still it'll be a lovely start to the hols :D And just think of the personal touches you have with making things yourself and not buying them :)

Has anyone else started doing stuff for next year's class at school?
My OH is getting quite freaked out that the class lists have been sent home now - with her new name on.
And she's made a sign for her new room - with her new name on.

Anyone else freaking out about changing their name at school?

    ONE MONTH TO GO!!!

Idiophreak - yes, I'm getting a bit freaked out about my new name at school! I've had the office staff asking for the spelling to put on the new staff list and the SENCO has asked for the spelling to put on the board with all our photos on! I actually had a blank moment and nearly asked what on earth they were going on about! :D

I wonder if I will actually answer any of the children when they call me by my new name in September?! :rotfl:

10 days to the holidays :) yay! ... Idiophreak - I have made my new children's tray and coat labels. It was a bored moment and I was putting off doing the washing though!!

Aww I had my new kids on Wednesday and they are lovely but as I was teaching them I remembered after xmas my name will change and I had to ask my TA if I should tell them or wait. I had a mind blank. We decided to wait as they are only 5 years old - it will confuse the little minds lol!!

I've made stuff for my classroom, although I don't change names until June so for most of the year they'll know me as Miss H :)

However, it's an easy transition from my maiden name to my married name as it also starts with a H :D so my class will stay as 2H throughout the year.

I've printed and laminated various things for my new classroom - I'm moving from Reception up to Year 2 and I have three days of teaching my new class this week.

However, I already know them as they were the other Reception class when I was in Reception so hopefully I shall remember all their names (and the cheeky ones!)

Scary thing is I'm teaching them in what will be my new classroom and it's not actually sorted out yet (it used to be a spare room for people to put spare resources, furniture etc) so I'm hoping it'll "do" for the three days and then I can perfect when the children have left.

9 working days to go... Tho I'm feeling a little sad cos I'm gonna miss my random, lovely class :(
