You all still seem to be doing a great job messies :A.
I am still in the kitchen, cleaning and decluttering, i don't know when i started in thier so i think i will look back on my posts and see when i 1st started it. I can now see an end to it very soon but i'm still doing baby steps cos that's what works for me.
I have decluttered all but 2 cupboards now and it's looking so much better for it. It's also MUCH easier to keep clean and actually FIND things :T YAY me and YAY everyone of you messies :j:T.

I've just realised I've got a second star! Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0

Just finished cleaning out the main chicken coop and just in time too as it's started raining. I have to leave cleaning it until late afternoon because they tend to lay throughout the morning and early afternoon. There has been the odd occasion when I've started cleaning it in the morning and had an unhappy hen wanting to get in to lay her egg!0

Hi all, been off for a wee while. Would love to say it's cos I've been so busy cleaning but that would be a big fat whopper!! just been going to work and back and running after everyone else. So today I was due to go somewhere with someone when I put my foot down and I've made a head start and cleaned the living room from top to bottom in the last hour or 2. Have had lots of little breaks which has been good. Tomorrow I'm for the dentist but am going to postpone and do more housework and then I'm going to sit down with a diary and do myself a little rota. I'm determined to stay ahead this time!!0

Ok, so in the past four days I have thoroughly cleaned the kitchen, dining room, downstairs loo and hallway, and mostly cleaned up the lounge too so it's all looking pretty good and I'm feeling pleased with myself. Now the tricky part - how do I get my compulsively untidy, every-surface-is-an-area-begging-to-be-covered husband to keep it that way!0

I just want to thank you ALL!
I have been reading through this thread and it motivated me to get off my very UNhousework behind and do something! I actually cleared out 2 boxes that erm had been taped up for years lol! This thread is so motivational...I confess, I am a non entity when it comes to housework! I avert my eyes innocently so I don't have to take in the scene! I hope you don't mind me joining your thread!
Big thanks again!0 -
Welcome! Like you I'm not very motivated. I work pretty hard and long hours during the week and really resent spending my weekend cleaning the house...but unfortunately it has to be done!0

Welcome Springtime and all other newbies. Not been on for a few days and just caught up, that was a lot of pages to read.
Been carrying on with going through my paperwork, some of which goes back to 1995 would you believe. Plenty more to go and I've not even started on the bank statements which I know go back even further. The paper bin is full so a good job it gets emptied this week. That in itself is an encouragement to carry on as I can see that that has all gone out of my house. Not a lot else done except keeping on top of what I have already achieved, ie kitchen clear with washing up done and put away, bathroom sink and toilet clean, lounge tidy, washing done and put away.Second purse £101/100
Third purse. £500 Saving for Christmas 2014
ALREADY BANKED:
£237 Christmas Savings 2013

I know what you mean. Paperwork is one of my problems as well, particularly since my husband won't throw any of it away. I now just pile his up in his study and leave him to it. Soon I think he will be buried under it! My own paperwork I shred. Well done on making such headway with yours.0
