Hi messies.
Procastinator, good to see you again. Sorry to hear you've been ill, and obviously not totally over it if you're getting so tired.
Gilly, it does sound like an infection, doesn't it? Definitely a visit to the GP in order.
Gillybean, you sound really, really content.:) Re the photos. Do you have a photobucket account?
It's been a lovely day here today, albeit rather windy. Still, the towels dried well, and smell wonderful. OH cut through our huge Clematis montana over the weekend. It was threatening to take over the whole garden, and even invade the house if we didn't do something drastic. So, having cut through it, and watched one half wilt, I set to, to free the poor rose underneath that was struggling to grow. It was finally done, with just one rose stem broken, and all the cuttings in small pieces and bagged. Managed to wash the kitchen and bathroom floors without help from the cats, although Garfield appeared when I managed to just touch two cats' dishes together. Garfield tried to help by tipping over the small watering can in the conservatory, so a patch of that floor was cleaned, too.0 -

Looks like D-day is finally coming - OH is planning on coming home on Wednesday for the weekend! Luckily between him finally understanding how much I'm struggling to cope and me having managed to do a bit of putting-away, I'm not to stressed about having to tidy up before he gets here!
Work has been absolutely manic over the last couple of weeks. We've got a massive opportunity but its taking an all-hands-to-the-pumps effort to make it happen. Between that and helping OH on his project, housework has well and truly taken a back seat.
I will get back on the wagon in a couple of weeks. Once work eases off and OH is back full time. Until then...0 -
Back at work now. First day back yesterday was surprisingly ok. Trying not to let house go now I'm not here all the time. I was only on leave for 2 weeks but got so much done! Got up at 6. Woke up at 5.30 but was being lazy! Cleaned kitchen and loaded dishwasher whilst coffee was brewing so all himself needs to do later is vacuum the floor and it's done. Very productive morning so far!0

Mondays are fine when they`re over & done with. ((Hugs)) to all, catch up soon..0

Afternoon Messies.
Good news then, gilly, so I hope it all mends quickly now. It doesn't sound as if the gp's worried.
Sonastin, your OH coming home is probably just what you need, so try not to worry too much about the de-messying. Just look forward to the weekend!
Sassia, sounds like you have things pretty much under control now, just a bit of tweaking here and there every day.
One WM load this morning. Did get a tad worried when it tipped down when we were at the yard, but we'd had no rain at home.Have been out titivating the garden, must go and frighten some dust monsters!

Hi messies, sorry I've not been on in a while! Hope everyone is ok and Gilly hope you're feeling better! Just a quick visit - not a lot of demessying done but I've got a new cooker so I HAD to clean the floor around and under the old one for that - beyond disgusting!
Today I've made lemon drizzle cake, lamb hotpot in the slow cooker and quorn chicken balti. I'm EXHAUSTED and feel as if I've been in the kitchen all day! How on earth do people cook lots AND get other things done??? Going for a bath in a minute, out to darts tonight.
Hugs everyone xxx0 -

Hiya Cat! Great news about the cooker, and about the floor, although you may not feel that way. No, I don't know how people cook and do other things, either, especially when they have to work, too. I used to do it, but don't think I could now. In fact, I'm sure I couldn't do it now.0
