    Morning... (yawnnnn)

Zara WILL be georgeous - in the afternoon, after a visit to a groomer LOL
Teddy - the main one who's fur is all over the place, he has really weird fur, very short but very dense and soft and.. forever everywhere

    1) tidy up the flat after overnight activity of 4 hairy monsters - damp dust (can not dry dust as hair flies everywhere), vacuum, clean litter trays
    2) get dressed
    3) walk Zara and catch 2 buses to take Zara to groomers
    4) read a book while she is being pampered as no point coming home in between
    5) get back home (around 3pm)
    6) load the washing machine/hang the clothes when done
    7) do my nails (look like.. after yesterday's busy day)
    8) start getting depressed as back to work tomorrow buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :(

EDIT: _ just so it looks like I am doing SOMETHING useful today - will clean the fridge inside (glass shelves etc). It is empty so will be easy LOL

Well, DD is home from Reading (Yes, that is why DS and I were sent to Leeds), clutching a drumstick (We are the In Crowd), a Foo Fighters' Dollar and the Subways' autographs.

And a rucksack full of washing, a muddy sleeping bag, four damp blankets and a tent that fell victim to a ketchup fight.

Here's hoping for some sun tomorrow... :D

    Hi everyone,

The visit was ok, we put the buns into the pen and they were happy in there, the child was very interested in them but she was on the other side of the mesh so nothing to worry about.

We had fancied up the pen too, we bought some new lino and carpet tiles for it. The lino was half price so only £14 to cover their 8ft x 4ft pen with plenty left over. The carpet tiles were less than £2 each so the upper tiers of the pen are better than before and they seem happy with that.

We use Biocatolet in their litter tray, it's really good, made from recycled paper so it's safe for them to eat and absorbs smells and that disgusting liquid that leaves their bodies.

I have painted 3 walls of the spare room, so there's just the long wall left to do and that's the last room! I still have quite a lot of woodwork to paint but every room will have had at least a quick fix so it doesn't look too bad! Might paint the final wall this afternoon or I might just do a bit more quilting. Have a good day.

    Hi messies :)

FW - well done to your daughters!!:T Maybe one day we'll see them at Wimbledon! I should be looking forward to the US Open starting today, but I still haven't got the Sky connection in my bedroom fixed and as DD1 is sleeping in the living room I'll miss the night sessions which are the best bits!

    gettingready - I think you deserve a rest now!:D

BuFFy that would be my list for a month, not a day! :D

laurel that made me laugh, that's what my DDs would do! Lucky her, getting all that stuff :) I watched Billy Talent's full Reading set on YouTube when I got up today, it was awesome, even more excited about the Glasgow gig now:j:j I've told DD2 we have to be first in the queue so we'll need to be there around 7am to make sure! Who else did you see apart from the Foos? (I agree - we are not worthy! :D)

alec well done on nearly finishing your painting, that's a very big job!

Today I have - washed some dishes, taken rubbish/recycling out, picked up odd bits of rubbish here and there, and ordered new prescriptions. Went to my psychologist appt, getting drenched on the way. It was good, she's really nice, back to complete the assessment phase in two weeks time :)

Plans for rest of the day - make soup (it's very much soup weather!), and continue with bits and bobs. So really, I don't have a plan :o

    hugs all xxx
  • Bad day. ended up being ill. went back to bed and every time I eat my tummy hurts. :(

list is undone and even the cinema is looking unlikely as I am going with a male friend who has just got a new girlfriend so unreliable.

am going to watch Wizard of Oz and tackle under the bed stuff.

got 3 bags for Charity shop already..........
    Nevertheless she persisted.

  • Everything takes so long Cat, I can't bear it. hate having so much !!!! everywhere. got recycling pile, tip pile (ok so that is in the garden) charity shop mountain, Green met pile, Music magpie pile.

got a woman coming to collect old chest of drawers tomorrow and someone coming for fish tanks on Saturday, someone for the old hoover at some point.

the process is a pain in the !!!!.

Sorry, I know I should feel lighter and better and positive but I think I am stressing about work already.

Normally I would be chuffed that things were moving.

    bah
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Buffy, I think you're stressing yourself out so much that it's making you physically ill :( I don't really know what to suggest if you can't force yourself to relax :( I hope the cinema thing does come off tonight, it'll do you good to get out if you're feeling up to it :( xx

I can see so much good news in your post - ie that everything is in sorted piles!! You'll be able to see it yourself soon hun, especially when things start going xx
