Last night put a load of towels in wm and I will put them on line before I go to work today. Might do a bit of paperwork sorting tonight. Nothing much will get done on Tuesday as I'm out straight from work.
well done Footy! that is really good. I hope that doesn't sound partronising, I am just awake and yesterday as it was SO hot here I did sod all and am jealousx

Hi all!!
Hope you had a good weekend even with the heat. I worked most of the weekend but managed to ger a bit of washing done so that was good. Only 2 bags left now I think phew. Only problem ran out of coathangers so have to get some of those at some point.
Buffy good luck with the shed! I hope it's not to hot for you. Alec it leaves loads of time for everything elseFooty you have hit the ground running this morning.
OH leaves on 28th but his work isn't letting him have any time off which is a bit of a kick
We have just learnt as well that the flat above the pub he'll be living in has no furniture so we are going to have to furnish. I guess this is because normally people are moving from one place to another so have their own stuff to bring with them. I'm dreading how much it's going to cost to buy everything. Just the basics at the moment will be a bed, cutlery, kettle, crockery, bedding, towels that's not counting a sofa or anything like that. He is going to take his laptop to use as a tv as he can't take comp as he won't even have a desk!
Oh well at least I got my bridesmaid dresses this weekend lolFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
Hi everyone!
No de-messing done by me. Got quite cross at the OH earlier asking him to get up and do a bit as I seem to be doing the most of it. Working at 4 so I plan to get up and get a little bit done, even if it's just to get the sitting room back in order.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Afternoon Messies.
Footymadgal, that's an impressive list of de-messying! :T
Faith, that's appalling that the brewery (or whoever) didn't give your OH any info about the flat. Could you/he use Freecycle or similar to get some of what's needed, anyway?
Oo, Buffy, a Shed of Doom? I hope it's not too hot in there, and the spiders haven't totally taken over.
Alec, I hope your plans get translated into something vaguely orderly.
I stripped our bed, and washed the bedding. Have bathed, with OH's help, long-haired piggy, who was scratching like mad. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy the water.Have sorted and put away dry washing, and picked fruit. When OH goes out, I'll re-make the bed, and clean the hob and kitchen work surfaces. It's so much easier to do when he's not here.

Hi hope everyone is okay.
Today Iv been on my hands and knees cleaning the floors as my mop has broken. It will do me good as I need the exercise. Kitchen cleaned, two loads of washing done, hall cleaned and livingroom.
Waiting for local charity to pick up a load of dd clothes and toys plus two side units. I can then continue with my mission to de clutter the whole house.
Its hot today but yesterday it was raining. My mum was sweating down south.0 -
Hi bearcub
I was going to have a look on there tonight actually (those sites are blocked at work grrr) also going to look in the local charity shops. Worst case if he really needs something we have an Argos card each and over a certain amount you get anything up 2 6 sometimes 9 months interest fee. I really don't want to do this but sometimes needs must.
I was so annoyed when he told me. It's just the final nail for me tbh. Firstly they move him so far away, then we had to fight tooth and nail to get a pre-booked off holiday re-confirmed after they had already cancelled it once (it's not even a proper holiday it's going to my mum's to sort wedding things out). Then when they finally agree to give him time off it's on the nights I'm working there so there is no point him having the time off!
I bet your piggy is a happy piggy now bless it

I think it was around 29 here for a while yesterday, and that's unsual, as there's nearly always a breeze to cool it off. Actually, it got quite windy in the evening, but it didn't cool much at all.
Faith, do you have a hospice shop near you, or a Salvation Army warehouse? Both usually have very good furniture for good prices. Yes, I think Molly piggy is much more comfortable now. The others a 'punk' type, and doesn't have the same problems.
Good to see you, snookey. I wasn't sure you'd been on for a couple of days, but I guess most people don't have as much spare time as I do!
Right, must go and pretend to be busy!0
