Make that times two! :rotfl:
Afternoon Messies.
I'm very pleased to hear that you're up and running today, soworried, or maybe that should be up and moving!
Well done you!
Emms, what a wonderful turn-up, that your colleague wanted to swap shifts! I hope the physio really helps. Good news about the computer, too.
Yes, animal fur/hair is definitely a condiment, and frequently tries to add to my mascara, too. So glad I no longer wear contacts.
Lovely sunny and breezy day here. Apparently the wind is causing problems for the Olympic sailors over in Dorset, but it's getting my washing dry!
De-messying is fairly low priority today. I'm meeting with someone tomorrow to plan a church service, and I have material to prepare. It'll be a 'blind leading the blind' situation, as neither of us have ever planned a service before. DD2 has also asked me to make a card for friends who've just had a baby, as "You make the best cards ever!" Don't think so, but I had just made a birthday card - a pool table - for a her bf's birthday.0 -
Well hello
Long time since I've been in here or it feels it anyway.
Nothing to report, I haven't been able to stand for longer than five inutes so OH been doing it all, although I did sit and do the ironing the other day.
Might try and clean the bathroom slowly later but we will see0 -
I've just washed the car, it really needed it. I'm now going to have a lemon juice on the grass.

Afternoon messies, I've finished the cushions for mum and been out to get her other birthday pressies today. The house is looking worse and worse, and I'm getting very twitchy. I might just go and start some de-messying in a minute (steady girl).I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

You would be more than welcome faith as you know my house is a mess. :rotfl:
I know what you mean about missing your OH. I hate it when me or my husband is away working. Reread the texts, I find that used to help me. x

It's worth asking your GP if you can be issued with crutches rather than buying them, though a physio would likely recommend properly fitted stick(s) - ie. adjusted to the right height - rather than crutches. Good luck.
PS you can buy a folding stick pretty cheaply on ebay, handy for carrying in your bag and using as you need it.Isis_Black wrote: »morning fellow messies :-)
ooops make that afternoon lol
anyway again more bad news from uni still not able to resit year 2, its really sadly looking like i may have to leave. but tbh leaving doesn't bother me as ive had my problems since early on with this course.
also trying to find and decide on buying crutches, i feel there are days i need them but then don't want to be looked at as if im faking something as i look health but if you look closely im not walking properly and im most likely grimacing, im one for hiding how im really feeling.
anyway today im looking at getting the huge pile of clean washing put away, i seem to have a mad day or 2 of getting wash loads done but never get time from then to put it all away so i just check it infront of my wardrobe lol so i best gt of the computer and get back to it i guess urgh lol
sees ya later messies :-) xx0 -
Soworried that made me chuckle. I hate letting in new people into my home it gets me so nervous. If they have been there before no problem they know what to expect lol

I think i'll do that. I'm dreading if this becomes a perm thing. There are rumours floating around that he will be offered his first pub soon. It looks like it could be one in Reading which is just shy of 100 miles away. If this happens I have no idea when I will see him
Isis Black have you heard of a company called glamsticks their local to me and they do decrotive crutches so rather than looking like your faking something (which you're not) you'll just look fabulous

So your OH is in the pub trade, Faith? I do sympathise with you, as our DD2 used to, and they work such horrendous hours.
No wonder you miss him.
Isis, I meant to say, such a shame (and rubbish decision on their part) the uni won't encourage you to stay. Could you perhaps look at getting financial help with the OU?
Jps, look out for that twitchiness!
Well done, soworried, for coping with the shopping trip. Such a horrible feeling when you panic every time you're out somewhere. I know what you mean, too, about re-reading text messages. OH and I don't have time away from each other (other than a couple of hours), but I do miss my DDs, especially DD2, who's up in Surrey, and isn't always too good at keeping in touch - too busy with her own life, as she should be, but even so .....
I know, pathetic, isn't it?
I have several Sylvanian toys in the loft, wilf. It's highly unlikely I'll ever have GC, but I can't bear to get rid of those particular toys.0
