    Hi all!

Just thought I would update you all after your kind words the other day.

Had Bupa phone consultation this morning. Spent 20 mins on the phone with a really nice girl going through my condition what I understand of it & how I manage it.

End result?? She has closed my case as (in her words) "I am very well informed of my condition have regular reviews and manage my condition really well!"

    Yippee :j

Feel like HUGE weight has been lifted as this was really worrying me phew! feel like I can breath now to go tackle the bedroom :(

Thats great news Faith. Hugs to anyone feeling a bit down. I still have days where everything seems to much and sometimes you just cant fight those feelings.

I have managed to get quite a lot done today. At least all the ironing is up to date and put away. I managed to get some paperwork done and the bathroom has had a clean and tidy. Need to go and take the dog for a long walk and it looks like its going to pour down so we maybe should go soon.

Have you got the washing machine sorted yet Cat? What a nightmare for you.

Oh and yeah - baby steps is the only way to go for anyone struggling.

I have ended up going shopping. I bought 5x 300g Nescafe coffee, Always sanitarys, 8x ski yoghurts.
1x carrot, 1x apple, 1x baking potato, 3x basic stock cubes, different types, and a bottle of basics lemonade.
With using the coupon thread and shopping forum on here I paid £1.30 for it all. :o

  • Hi all!

Lovely sunny day here today, been pouring down since 6pm though!!! Did some washing this morning and then went to see my cousin who has come up from Cheshire to see her family. I got to spend some time with my gorgeous 2 year old god daughter, happy days!!

Then (most exciting thing that's happened to me for a long time...) I found out that i've got a job that i'd enquired about at our local vets!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
They are opening a new surgery and need someone to do receptionist cover if someone is ill/on holiday, I asked the vet if there were any jobs going and he said he'd let me know, i never gave it another thought then he turned up at the door tonight with some paperwork for me to fill in!! The surgery doesn't open till September and i probably won't get many hours but it's something to look forward to!! I'm really chuffed, i know it's not a big job but i' so pleased that the vet thinks i'm good enough to do it!!! :T

    Jxxx
    It's a farmers life for me......:j

Forgot to say earlier, great news, Faith, that the medics are happy with your health situation. It'll make you feel better, I'm sure, knowing that the 'experts' have confidence in your ability to cope.

Farmerswife, what lovely news! :T Our DD2 worked for a while as a vets' receptionist, loved it, and learned so much. I hope you enjoy it as much - but how on earth will you find the time?

  • Am watching a kids tv programme - it has Mr Tumble in but he is called Justin...

    ooo it's called Justin's House..

    any how

he has a visitor who likes everything to be tidy, if anything is out of place he (Chris) says "messy messy!"

He had a rhyme for tidying but I can't remember it

and Justin and his robot Robert are very miserable because they can't do anything!

so you know we should remember this. I bet our houses are often fun and more relaxed than those people with minimalist tidy tidy homes.

:) have a good day folks Love you all xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
