Hello everyone!!!
Had a lovely weekend away, feel like a 'new woman' (almost!!) haha :rotfl:
Done loads of washing today, managed to get it dry before the heavens opened, now it's sunny again!! grr!! Made some biscuits and a picnic pie, had a grocery delivery at 8.30am so i had to mop the kitchen and conservatory floor before the deliveryman refused to leave my shopping! My mother has been round and cleaned my downstairs windows inside and out - i know i moan about her sometimes but she means well! Took grumpy teenage son to get his bloods done at doctors this morning, he's lost a little bit more weight so we need to get to the bottom of it before he loses any more.
I'm now watching the olympic diving with my two girls, i'm sure i qualify for a rest after mopping the floors before 8.30am???
JxIt's a farmers life for me......:j0 -

Hello,
ive been lurking on here for quite a few months.
Taken loads of inspiration that has helped my airing cupboard become just that ...and not a cupboard that crammed with" all sorts of essentials."
ive cleared out the cupboard under the stairs, so it holds just my ironing board, hoover and carpet cleaner.
taken things to auctions made £37.00,:D given away to family and friends.
i have depression that creeps up on me and i alternate between loads and then no energy so when its been good its been great.
I just wanted to say to cat, the only reason you should go to your bedroom is to slap on your lashes and get out there,:A eaiser said than done , i know, but you go girl :jmum "e" to the most perfect girl :Awho stood by me through it all nana to my beautiful grandson WLM 27.09.13:j

you are right SW depression is an invisible window that sometimes i look through see life going on .
My front room until a month ago was cluttered in every area of just stuff and dark purple on the walls and a black blind at the window .
just emptied it on impulse one day sold what I could at the auction and painted it cream took a lot of painting but its done and calm now.
started off well, lost the way for a couple of weeks but never added so i see that as a result ! :Tmum "e" to the most perfect girl :Awho stood by me through it all nana to my beautiful grandson WLM 27.09.13:j

Evening Messies, and welcome to whichwhy and saffsie. We do our best to encourage here, but understand why de-messying doesn't get done. Depression is awful - a big wall that stops you seeing others, and caring for them is a thought at the back of your mind. As for de-messying, it becomes a non-priority, but it can get better, if you'll make the first tiny step.
Cat, have replied.
Can't remember all I read, except that some of you have rain, which doesn't help motivation. On the other hand, if it's raining, why not stay in and do some clearing, even if it's just putting the washing-up away?
Farmerswife, It really is time something was sorted out for your DS, isn't it? I hope they find out the cause very soon.
Not had a lot of time today, as DD1's come to stay for a couple of days, but I did a WM load, swept the kitchen floor, and cleaned the hob.0 -
Hey guys! Stopped in to say hi to all the messers!
Well, my man got an internship! Has pushed back our date for going away but I am delighted for him! Means we have longer to save and a bigger target to reach!
Tummy is not happy tonight due to bad indian I had at a friends house last night!
Today, OH did the floors for me.. Managed to sort out my shoes and two items I put on ebay are selling! Every penny counts!
Gave a few bits and bobs to my friend who moved house in an attempt at decluttering my sisters old toys!
Going to see if I have any other spare stuff decent enough to give her! Two bags are sitting here ready to go to the charity shop as well.
Going to tackle a large stack of stuff outside the shed door outside tomoro, that way the whole yard will be clean and I'll feel a lot better!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hi all

Just thought I'd join you all.
I'm married with two kids, one has Autism. I too suffer from depression, have bursitis in both knees and plantar fasciitis in both feet. So I've let the house go a bit recently.
I need to do a major clear out so that we can redecorate as the house hasn't been done in years
We're heading on hols on Friday so hopefully when we get back I can get stuck in. It's a bit difficult while my daughter's off school though.

Congrats to your OH, tatabubbly. Shame about the Indian meal, cos Indian food is so good. Hope your insdies settle down soon.
Welcome, kraftykat. Hopefully, we can encourage you to get going on your de-messying, although our influence may be a bit limited if you're going away on Friday.
