    Thankyou Em,
The poem is so I read it and keep reading it. It helps me know that no matter how small a task I am doing, it is a step closer to good mental health and a tidy home once more. :)
You should have a sit outside, it is lovely. I am going to make us all lunch then treat myself to a sit out in my now tidyish garden :)

Your doing really well Gilly :j

    Afternoon Messies.

Poem? Where? I must have missed it.

Sonastin, if you suspect there's a crack in the microwave door, DO NOT use it. Microwaves (the waves themselves, not the ovens) work in a very particular way and, if you try to cook something in the oven with a cracked door, there's a big risk that you'll end up with bits flying everywhere. Please don't risk it!

Gilly, I think your DS is best out of there. Not locking his room? And they're a security company? Bodes well for the athletes, doesn't it? To keep shifting rooms, never mind hotels is too much to ask, and to have to move from Croydon to Dorking is just ridiculous.

Well done, soworried and family. A garden looks so much better when the grass is cut - OH did our back one today.

Well done all other Messies who've been busy being De-Messies. :T

I have been pretty busy, all outside and, although it was only two tasks, I think I'm going to suffer tomorrow. First, washed car - took ages. Sluiced it with water to remove loose dirt, then shampooed it, then waxed it. Needs two lots of stuff, as we had it coated in a special finish. Looks wonderful, just like it did when I bought it! :) Then, since I was on a roll, I'd noticed that the outside of the conservatory was filthy, green in some places, so I washed that, too - all I could reach, anyway. I wasn't going to climb on something without OH being here. Sadly, I unhomed some spiders, but no doubt they'll be back when the walls have dried. Think my back may be a tad uncomfortabe tomorrow.

Hi messies. Not in the most chatty of moods today but just checking in anyway. Nothing really to report, did one sinkful of dishes and hoovered the hall but nothing else.

    hugs all :) xxx

    Well done bearcub and OH.

I think I will be sore tomorrow as well as I am already going stiff :p

A glass of wine may be needed before bed to loosen me up :)

The poem is in my signature bearcub.

Hi everyone. Well we should have our new doggie by now but unfortunately he has kennel cough so has to stay put for a few more days. Very sad and disappointing. Just cant wait until we can pick him up.

Had a pointless trip to buy eldest son some trainers for playing out in. I had ideas about some cheap walking trainers - something that would stand climbing trees/crossing muddy fields/building dens etc. It seems that walking trainers are either heavy and clumpy (according to DS) or ridiculously expensive. Sigh. He is back out playing in his expensive Nike trainers.

Well done on the car washing Bearcub - ours needs doing badly. And SoWorried - great achievements in the garden!

Off to browse the internet for footwear. Hope the sun is still shining tomorrow!
