I know how you feel with the chillies, the first year my dad grew courgettes it was "courgette surprise" for tea every day! So I'm guessing chilli jam, chilli oil, frozen/dried chillies, chilli door wreaths etc for everyone this year?

I nearly didn't touch up the paint yesterday, I just couldn't be bothered but as I'd said I'd do it then I made myself do it and it took about 15 minutes *blush*.

Today I am looking for a new pen for my rabbits, which doesn't sound like tidying but if you saw the amount of hay in my living room you'd know it is! Have a good day everyone.

    Morning Messies.

As my OH said, soworried, anything is an achievement, and you're doing wonderfully well. I really hope your family day is very enjoyable.

I'll post more later, but we're off to do a really quick muck out of the stables, then to Yarmouth to see the Olympic torch, hopefully. Yarmouth is so small, I think it's going to be very crowded. Whatever, I'm taking my camera with a fairly high zoom, so I'm hoping I'll get something worthwhile. See you all later.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. :)

Another vote here for cooking over cleaning!

Soworried - you've been doing really well, don't give up now. If you haven't already started, how about making 12pm your hourly start for the day? I'll join you.

I'm having a slow start this morning - woke late and have just showered and dressed. Tidied and cleaned kitchen surfaces last night because i now have ants to join the slugs that come in somehow every night. Am planning on deep cleaning the floor in there today.

Split up with my boyfriend last night and my family are all away on holiday at the moment so trying really hard to stay positive. Going for a meal with a friend tonight so that should be nice although no drinking because i'm on antibiotics.

Just going to have another cup of coffee and then i'll do something! Have a great weekend everyone!

    Happy birthday Itchyfeet!:bdaycake:Have a fun/relaxing day! :) x

Thanks bearcub/snookey/soworried - it's not a massive windfall and I still can't afford everything I really need, but I've never been able to buy anything big without getting a loan before so it feels amazing!! I guess I didn't really NEED a new TV but it does feel nice to have caught up with technology at last lol! My Frasier DVDs have just arrived, delivered by our totally gorgeous parcel postman - double bonus!!:smileyheaGoing to order the washer dryer today because that's really important, then see how much is left over. I'm thinking I might spend the remainder on new pillows, would be lovely to have decent ones for a change instead of Value ones :)

soworried you're doing SOOOO well, I'm sure that with your family's support you'll have a good day tomorrow - I just hope the weather is ok for you all!! x Don't worry about getting started today, just chill out, then when you come back from your big achievement tomorrow you'll feel invigorated and ready to get on with things again :) Where are you off to btw?

enjoy your day bearcub :) x

mcculloch hope you're feeling better soon x

buttercup that's a LOT of storage boxes! I love storage boxes, but I do think they encourage me to keep more than I need to!:o

Right I was going to post all my plans for today but I've just put on my favourite Frasier episode so I'm going to disappear for a while - back later! :) Hope everyone has a good day x

We are off to Flamingoland for the day. I am making food today to take with us. The tickets were bought with Tesco vouchers so just the fuel to pay for. Enjoy your dvds cat x

    I'm moving now :)

1st hour, dishes washed, daughter washed worktops, son has done the recycling and husband has done the car out ready for tomorrow. He is off to fill the tank and do tyre pressures now as well.

It's the Gay Pride event in Glasgow today, they have them all over the world - a carnival procession then stalls/entertainment - great free day! :)
