I'm in Norfolk, the sun is shining although there is a good breeze in the garden today but yesterday was unbearable, I was so uncomfortable I just kept crying, don't you love pregnancy hormones lol

Our Range hasn't been open that long but suddenly they have a garden section and there were loads of climbers on the way in, just seemed a really good buy especially as we have set aside lots of room and made trelis to have things grow up, so couldn't resist really, even since yesterday they have grown a bit.

I remember being constantly warm, gillybean, both in pregnancy and menopause. The former was definitely worse, though. I loved (and still love, of course) my kids, but I hated being pregnant, because I couldn't get into my jeans, which I always wore skin tight! Ah, those were the days. :)

My OH's family (both sides) came from Norfolk, and I don't think I ever knew it hot there. It was always windy. Then I moved here near the sea, and it's either still with a sea fog, or windy. Today, we have heavy showers, interpersed with spells of blue sky and sun - it's more like April than almost July.

I haven't minded being pregnant at all, or hadn't until the sun appeared now I'm counting down the days 37 to go lol

Where in Norfolk were they from?

I remember that feeling, as our DD1 was born at the end of June.

OH's family were from Horsham St Faiths, not far from Norwich. I've done a fair amount of family history research on them - his maternal GM was in the workhouse at just 3 years old. No wonder she was such a tough little lady.

I got rid of my vinyls when we moved, bearcub. I didn't even have anything to play them on but it was still a wrench and I still regret it a tiny bit!

Have made tea, eaten it, then washed up straight away - I think that's a first :rotfl::rotfl:

I should have had a plan B for tonight as Heather Watson got comprehensively thumped - maybe I'll just do nothing :)

Still chucking it down here :( Sorry for yet another weather moan, but honestly - if it's like April on the Isle of Wight, it's like February or November here!

Gillybean I sympathise. When I was carrying my son it was May 95 and boiling hot. I was fed up, uncomfortable ,and could not get cool or comfy . Never mind try eating some ice.

It must be horrible, Cat, to have so much grey and rain. Atm, it's not so bad here, because the farmers are reasonably happy that the rain and warmth are making the crops grow bit if it doesn't dry out soon, the crops won't be able to ripen. As it si, our garden plants are starting to suffer with problems - blackspot and rust on the roses, and the spuds don't look too healthy. either. I just hope we don't get tomato blight, as that devastated tomatoes all across the island, including the commercial growers. Being totally selfish, we've not been able to take the horses out for a walk for weeks, as the fields are so muddy and slippery, and we don't like to take the one that can't be ridden on the road, as he and the handler (whether me or OH) are so vulnerable.

Have put away the dried washing, and the dried washing-up.

Wow bearcub they're fab!!:T:T I could never do anything like that!

Have sorted out 2 more boxes and a suitcase full of junk, so that's 5 boxes + 1 suitcase today. The things which have made the cut would perhaps fill up one box!

So, 4 big boxes to go but they're not looking very appealing at the moment! I might just open a bottle of wine - or maybe do just one more box....hmmm....:D:D
