Hi Messies!!
Well, it has been a warm one today! So i decided to tackle the ironing mountain - why oh why on the hottest day of the year??!! Anyway, all ironing got done, just need to put it all away now.......
We're busy silaging on the farm today, tractors roaring about everywhere. I've been stuck in the house making lunch and supper for everybody. Hope the weather is like this tomorrow, the kids are enjoying riding around on their bikes and playing in the garden.
Well done to everybody that's managed to get even the smallest thing done this week - we messies ROCK!!
Have a good weekend everybody!! :j
JxIt's a farmers life for me......:j0 -
Hi messies - house is a bomb site but I don't care (insert satisfied grin here) because it's the nicest day of the year so far and it's a Friday!!
Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be very nice too, so I'm going to don my gardening gear, plant some strawberries, mow the lawn, do a bit of weeding and maybe clear a bit of brushwood up.
Hoover? what's one of them then?
I have washed the dishes though, go me!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Good old day today
Just me and the boss at work today and we had a lovely one. Even though I've been up since 5.30 this morning, I feel full of energy- done laundry, masses of washing up, got dinner on, planted my two strawberry plants, watered the garden and cleared up after the dog.
Really hoping I've got out of going to the superbikes on Sunday, I love it but I really can't afford the £30 for the ticket. Besides, I'm looking forward to a lovely sunny day pottering around the house
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

I use my Henry without the bag and he still works great
OH does this with Henry I - he uses that one for work so he picks up brick dust, fibreglass fibres, wood shavings, basically anything which is messing up his workshop or working area. Henry II is the clean one that he bought for hoovering in the house. Henry II only has a bag because OH hasn't trashed him yet. The time will come when Henry II is also bagless... but I still won't be responsible for emptying him!0 -
Good morning messies! What a perfectly perfect day. I am going to play in the garden all day, and pop in here for a rest when I get pooped.
By the end of the weekend the garden will look very nice. The house is a different matter, but it'll probably rain over half term so it can wait til then!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

I got four loads done today kitty! Also close-cut all the grass, jam-filled the brown bin. Luckily my neighbour lets me use hers as she never puts anything in (her lawn is mowed for her and they take the clippings away).
I got defeated by the heat by about 2pm and had to go and have a little lie down with the fan on!
Tomorrow I need to do a few more loads of washing and try to do some weeding.
Hope all messies are well... Emm are you on killer shifts again or just too tired to post? Hope you are ok!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Evening messies!
I've also been in the garden. I've nearly filled the bin up with bits of woos, bamboo, broken pots lying about. I found a spider's nest as well! Totally grossed out. I hqve some pots on Freecycle now. Hardly any weeds to be seen, a few plants bwed moving about though but thats a job for Mr Taadaa in my condition.
He was fixing a leak today in the kitchen, he's done a great job. So tomorrow l have to clean up and out things back in the right place!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Been out all day today so nothing's been done. OH's birthday so I bought him an electric razor/beard trimmer because he hates shaving in our little bathroom. First thing he did was use it - and get stubble absolutely everywhere! Looks like bathroom clean which was overdue is now absolutely urgent. Might tackle it tomorrow but OH is planning to visit the tip so that might get in the way. Also need to tackle the growing mountain of washing - it'll be just my luck to miss this great drying weather and get round to doing the laundry when the rain comes back. If you like, I'll keep procrastinating just to keep the rain away for a bit longer0

Morning all.
Yesterday I finally managed to complete cleaning out and sorting through the entire contents of the pantry, It feels fab to be able to actually walk in it!
I got 1 bin liner full of rubbish
1 bag full of letters/bank statements etc that DH needs to burn
1 bag of items for the Charity shop
Sold £15 worth of items on a online selling group (this is DS's spending money for the air show next week.
also got a few things that need to be listed on Ebay ( Will get round to taking the photos at some point today!
I went to bed last night feeling so smug that I had actually managed to complete it
Plans for today are:
A quick clean up
Sort the washing/ironing
Bake a few bits for DS's lunch box next week
Cook dinner (Fish pie)
Sweep back garden
Plant some new addition to our Herb bed
Sort Ebay items out
Start sorting the rest of the kitchen cupboards.
So I've got quiet a full on day today but I so know it will be worth it when my house is clutter free.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.0
