Iv ordered my new washing machine. Best price I found was on electrocentre with free delivery. Just thought Id add that as I spent ages looking.
Well apart from a trip to the shops for sons birthday cake and cards Iv done nothing. Son is seventeen today dont know where the time goes.
Im doing the tea later and maybe walk the dog unless I can get my son to.
Weather is warm and sunny here in the north west.
Take care everyone Ill pop in later to see what everyone has been up to.

    Hello all,

nice day here on the farm. Trip to the dentisits with kids this morning then had a good chat with the head teacher when i dropped them back at school, got home and it was almost lunchtime!

Managed to get 2 loads of washing on line then got distracted bya new book that i'm reading so haven't got much done this afternoon. I'm now prepping the veg to go with tonights roast beef but it really is too nice to be indoors.................:j

Thanks, Emm. I know they're proud of me, in their own way. Sometimes I'd like them to be a bit more explicit about it, I guess :)

    Oh, blast.

    Window cleaner day.

I was feeling quite upbeat-the place is a bit untidy, but not deep-down-week-to-sort-out untidy, and it could do with a good hoover, but I've cleared one of the final clutter caverns in the last week and it didn't look too bad to me. :j

Then you get somebody peering through your upstairs windows at your unmade bed. I always know it's bad when he sympathises with me about how much of a struggle it must be as a single mum....:o

Dogstar-I manage to do more than the basics by...er...skimping on the basics, as you can probably tell :D. Gardening, DIY and decorating are *far* more interesting, and have lasting effects that cheer me up long-term. There's no sense of achievement for me in cleaning, so I have to do something else or go mad.

I should be filling in a job application form. Or four. Suddenly there seem to be quite a few potentials advertised. Including readvertising the post I was turned down for in January. So they made a bit of a carp choice, then. Hmmmm

I hate job application forms. Really, really hate. So much so that I've been out into the garden and sawed off the *last remaining tree stump*. :j (Well, there are two huge ones left, but both in places where I've convinced myself they look picturesque.:rotfl:)

But I now need a proverbial boot into action..feel free to take out your frustrations ;) I'll feel better when it's done, etc etc.

    (Maybe after a shower....:D)

I feel that, had that happen a couple of times. Totally lost motivation for job applications and the prospect of going back to working in care looms- anyone work in an old people's home care to give me a heads up on what it's like? Worked in a children's home but far less in the way of bodily fluids bandied about...

Did my running today, again - in ten days I've doubled the distance I can run. Then cleared up after the dog and watered the plants. Run out of get up and go now!

Just dropping in to tell you that the pants mountain is still there. I have been busy in the house, today is kitchen day and always a busy day of chore. Maybe tomorrow.

    Hello again :)

I am finally catching up with my washing. I can see an end in sight - or in my case, I can see the bottom of the bath. :o Not seen it since last year sometime. So much washing....:o
