Buffy, are you in an exam year, possibly 6th form? If so, I'm going to play the 'mum' here. You seem to be finding it very difficult to concentrate, and having anxiety 'attacks'. Are you eating and sleeping ok? If you're not finding either of those good atm, and you've not done so already, get to a doctor asap! I say that because my dd2 went through the same things, with the pressure she put on herself to do well. She ended up, after her exams, seriously depressed, and I mean seriously, with all that can involve. DO NOT battle on without medical help because, despite what you may think, it's unlikely to get better if it goes on beyond a certain level, because your body loses certain chemicals, and it simply can't pick itself up. If none of what I've said applies, then please ignore, and I'll shut up and go away.

Ah, kitty, playing the machines on the pier! :) Long time since I did that! I said to OH tonight that the next time we have some decent weather and we're not committed to anything else, we must go for a walk by the sea. We're only about 15 mins walk away, and we rarely go.

well i had to go to the bloody sorting office cos they left a parcel, my mum gave us a bag of pennies like 2 years ago which we never spent :p so i thought insteada wasting a fiver on the bus just to pick up a parcel may as well go to the pier and around town :) nice hour out it was :)

friend came round this morning for coffee and a chat ,then she took 4 big black bags of stuff to the charity shop for me :T:T:T yay its finally gone!!!!!

    today:
    done 2 loads of washing
    folded clothes
    put clothes on airers
    been food shopping
    done dishes
    done bins
    hoovered livingroom
    put new throw on settee
cant exactly say i "tidied" the livingroom, but i kicked a few bits out of the way lol :rotfl:

just need to make ds bed later :)

Wow, kitty! :T You'll put us all to shame. :) I don't blame you for wanting a bit more for your fiver than picking up a parcel, and it's good that you enjoyed the trip.

Of course kicking things out of the way counts towards clearing up - without that, it could have been a 'trip' of a different kind. ;)

I wanted to put some washing out - washing I did yesterday - but the silly people behind us decided to feed the gulls, so I decided ot to bother.

I've just spoken to OH, no answer. He's fast asleep. :( He'd asked me if I wanted a cup of tea!

    Well done kitty!

I'm in preparing for work mode now :( Just done break/lunch stuff, now I need to fry off some turkey mince for bolognaise for evening meals. Must check my bag and make sure everything's in there for tomorrow.

I feel so much still in holiday mode, it'll be weird being back.

Hugs where they're wanted, hope everyone is having a good day.

I hope you have a good first day back, jps. When I worked in a school, I always had to wrok some days in the hols, so I rarely got a 'holiday' feeling for long.

Busy day for me too. Iv put four bags of clean clothes away, mopped our room, wiped the surfaces and threw out half a bin bag of rubbish.
Iv really got to deep clean the upstairs rooms. Cats are moulting and the dog so balls of fur everywhere. Oops Im a poet and did not know it,lol.
Its going to be wet weather all next week so no excuses from me not to clean.
Im going to get daughters uniform sorted, clean the surfaces in the bathroom and put some washing on.

Well done to you as well snookey- I have got everything ready for work tomorrow but the Easter hols were a non starter for me getting anything major done this year. Of course I didn't really need much of an excuse not to get stuck in to the mess upstairs!

Soon. Really. Well this year - probably!

  • Can I join in ?

    What have I accomplished today...

Well not a lot, hubby let me have a lay in and bought me brekkie in bed

I made a loaf of bread
    Did 1 load of washing
    Watched telly
    Had a bath and read
    Ate tea

    That's it.

I'm not working now and 24 weeks pregnant and want to get in a routine around the house, I don't know where to start
  • I am watching Marley and Me. Big Mistake. Am crying like a baby...

I have just lugged a box up stairs of the stuff I was meant to sort out in the holidays.

And there are 52 hanging files on my desk full of !!!! I need to go through. I started AGES ago a system of filing EVERYTHING a-z. It didn't work, I didn't like it.

Any how they are on going on the box of unsorted stuff. And I am going to try really hard to sort this, to defeat this stupid unhelpful behaviour.

Must get sorted for tomorrow. ugh. cannot face it. Know I will be up till God knows when.

thanks for listening this last week, I reallly cannot thank you all enough

    xxxxx
