Dropped DS off in town to see his g/f . My baby!
DD and her friends are having an anti-Valentine sleepover. Her best friend has been through my cookie cutters and emerged triumphant with a frog (A frog? When did I ever buy a frog?)
I did point out (with a grin on my face) that they were a little young to be so bitter, and perhaps it's something a 44 yo single divorcee should be doing.
But it would be creepy if I did it. Apparently.:rotfl:import this0 -
Must be a thing at the moment this anti valentines day. My daughter has been invited to an anti valentines day party. She isn't going because it is going to be horror films they are watching. A night like that and she would be camping on her long suffering brother's bedroom floor for a couple of weeks. Trouble is he is away at uni now so he isn't here to protect her anymore.:rotfl:0

lol creepy? I think it's a great idea:rotfl:and yes you're NOT the only one who doesn't get round to sending Xmas cards:o I managed last year - but not the year before.....god it does make me feel better to know that other people are just like me:o
kitty really hope you are ok today! Did you have a good cry? I always find that getting a big fright like that makes me howl(((hugs)))
Up waiting for men to come and replace bath taps, didn't really get round to cleaning bathroom last night then lay awake ALL night worrying about having to get up this morning and do it. How crazy is that?????:o Mopped kitchen floor and realised the mop REEKS. Kitchen smells awful, just sprayed some Febreze all over the floor and hoped for the best:rotfl:
Anyway, as it's Valentine's day and I like to live my life vicariously, I'd love to know all the details of MM's proposal to B0 -
(((HUGS))) to all, especially those with vicious furniture, those with kids on half-term break, those with Plumbing issues, those new or newly-returned to the Messy fold......
and those with a kitchen floor that looks more like a pizza. I`m sure mine can`t be the only one. DGD & I made a couple of mega HM pizzas last night. They really were VERY good. This morning I found a pepper seed floating in my coffee, and trod on an olive stone in my bare feet....
Working early tomorrow, so must do lots of stuff today.
LR not bad, loads of dry washing to put away, shopping, food, de-trashing kitchen (again!) etc...
Drags self away to do stuff...0 -
:smileyheaI LOVE Valentines day :smileyhea
Anyway, I am still battling on with the laundry!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I've had a good go in the kitchen and a tidy/polish in the living room-dining room- hall.
I'd just emptied the contents of my dressing table onto the bed (fills the bed!) so I can clean/sort it when OH came home from work with some flowerrs, chocs and a card, then I managed to stab myself in the hand while unwrapping the flowers so I'm on a tea break waiting for it to stop bleeding - it really hurt!
It's more self-harm break around here at the moment, lets all try to be careful! Easier Said!
I wonder how Kitty is?0 -
Oh dear FA!!
See - Valentine's Day? Dangerous. Housework? Dangerous. It's no wonder I don't get involved in either:D
eta talking of Xmas cards - I've just realised mine are still up on the wall!!0 -
