    Evening Bunnies.

Was around earlier, but didn't have time to post.

Laurel, you've been very busy, and so physically busy, too! Well done, you!

Are you ok, kitty? Maybe just worn out?

Have been here, there and everywhere today, so not much done. The WM loaded for tomorrow, and started :T sorting the mass of family photos. Don't want to finish that task too soon, though, as Mum will give me more! Gave the table a quick clean and polish after dinner, as it was filthy. I blame it all on OH being a messy eater! ;) Will be doing the ironing while Island Parish is on.
  • Well at least I didn't get admitted to hospital :T but do have a bout of diverticulitis (or something similar). More antibiotics:(:(:( more painkiller :(:(:( If I take any more meds I will rattle.

On a good note kitten 1 (now named Maddy) actually let me pick her up very briefly :T:T:T:T:T she did put her ears back, but a quick fuss and I put her back in the pen, so little at a time with that.

Yet more no housework has been done (what apalling grammar but I'm sure you know what I mean). Full day of work and came home to finish up work. Ate meal, cleaned kittens, fed kittens.

Do need to clear my desk as I have printing out to do tomorrow and need space for that.

Glad to see you back and *not* in hospital, SD :)

So glad your son doesn't need an op, Jacci!!!

And thank you all for your encouragement...it seems I've had some jobs dragging on for months (that would be because I have ;) ), but progress is being made...

Laurel - I am very impressed at your garden achievements, especially as it was so cold outside today (I did several productive trips to the bin - only outside the garden gate - and dashed back into the warm each time. Still, I suppose your hard work kept you warm once you`d got started.)
SoupDragon - (Hugs). Just don`t jump up & down, ok? Do keep us posted about the kittens, I look forward to each progress report.
Bearcub - hope you enjoyed the family visit.
Buffy - sounds like you`re starting to unwind. Indulge yourself, you deserve it.
Helen - I think you`re very brave considering Homeschooling. I had a friend who did this and I quite envied her at the time - but then as now, I don`t have the self-discipline.
Kitty - at least you were considering making cupcakes - I went out & bought some!

In fact, I`ve done very little today. It IS my `holiday` after all. And tonight is OH`s last-but-one night shift (YAYYYY!!!) for the foreseeable future.
I did collect enough carp to fill the bin, mostly from corners of kitchen & DGD`s room.
And I did make OH a nice snappins for tonight.
Last night I put 2 slow cookers on before I went to bed. There was barely room on the kitchen worktops for them, but I didn`t de-clutter. A small piece of thawed whoopsied brisket, a big onion cut small, salvaged a bit of celery, and 4 big tired tomatoes cut up, in the smaller SC. A big lump of smoked ham, thawed the other day so needed cooking, and a big bottle of pepsi in the larger SC.I left both on low last night, left a note for OH to turn them off when he got in this am. (He said the kitchen smelled gorgeous!)
I had to nip out for milk this afternoon and found some whoopsied yorkshire puds. The Brisket fell apart, couldn`t slice it, so hacked it into `big soup` bits, and zapped down the cooking juices, turned into a good thick soup, chucked lots of meat in, filled his food flask. I cooked the yorkies crispy & cut them in half to fill a butty-box, so he can dunk them. Will have some myself later with DS, and (bought)cup-cakes for afters. With custard. Forgive me, but that`s what I fancy. I comfort eat when OH isn`t here.
I have de-cluttered the kitchen a fair bit. It`s not quite right, but it`s a lot better.
And hoovered LR, made a fire and did a partial de-clutter.
    The rest will keep.

    Morning All
just a quick post before the school run and onwards to work...

house is reasonably good considering we've lived in it for 3 days after HWTHMBO and I mucked out. got a couple of maintenance things like hoovering and stuff to do but I'll do that on Wednesday whilst DS#1 is at Beavers.
I'm getting more wound up about French Student coming now. Think we are going to make a small plaquard/banner tonight to welcome them as they arrive by coach tomorrow evening.

After school pickup today I'll go to Orange and get my phone number moved to the new SIM (£7.00 :money:) and go back to Santander to close the credit card account (who knew you needed to make and appointment with a financial adviser just to close an account?) and drop HWTHMBO's letter to the local HMRC office.

The good bit is MY cold has gone (echinacia (sp?) and hot honey & lemon and plenty of early nights - I went to bed when DS#1 went at 7.30) seemed to see it off.
the bad bit is DS#2 has the cold really bad and keeps coming into our bedroom, waking me up to tell me he's dizzy or needs a drink (wishing I hadn't decluttered their old sippy cups now), and last night DS#1 (who is like his dad (HWTHMBO) and never gets ill) came in to tell me he wasn't well either, it was a bit like a relay betweenthe pair of them and I've only had about 3 hours sleep in total. urgh! AND I've got a presentation and major league science to do today.

Going to try for a really early night tonight (6.30 if I can get away with it) for me and the kidz or I'll have no energy or patience for when the French Student arrives tomorrow evening (around 8.30pm traffic permitting).

    Catch you later,

    FA#1

    DS#1 - my twenty-five-year old son
DS#2 - my twenty -one son

Just want to thank you all, I really enjoy reading what you are all up to.
