So relieved you're feeling better Rummer :) Who was mean to you? Show us and we'll knock 'em out in a kind of ....OS way (stocks??:p)

You're so lucky to have such a nice spacious garden :)

But why oh why did I visit your blog?? CREPES!!! I LOVE CREPES!! Damn this diet!!

Been and picked the washing up and put another load on, hope the machine isn't too noisy:o

Really need to do a major tour of the house with bin/recycling bags soon, it's ridiculous. DDs out tomorrow getting their tattoos for G and other memorial things so I think I should keep myself busy while they're gone to stop brooding. CPN at half 3 though which breaks the day up a bit.

Cat hope the cpn helped. My psych said Im seeing things due to stress. I even thought Id had a conversation with my son and he was at college. Could not sleep last night thinking about it. Should have knocked myself out with the sleeping tablets.
Iv done next to nothing today but Im going to my dads tomorrow to give him a hand cleaning. It always seems a breeze doing other peoples housework.

  • Oh Messies, I`ve had a CARP day at work, time to wind down/read & catch up here as not working till 12 tomorrow......typed a LOOOONG post and lost it....can`t blame computer, DS did a great job on it, but the script is a bit smaller now (he` can adjust it, apparently) but got a stiff neck from holding head at funny angle so I can read it from bottom of varifocal specs (need new specs soon - more bl00dy expense then) Potted version of long post - must go to bed asap!
RUMMER - SO Glad you`ve posted, I was worried. Whoever was mean to you, just wrap yourself in cyberhugs from Messies who care & miss you when you`re MIA!
MessyMare -Great to hear new job is a happy start.
Frugal - more happy work news, great.
(I had a CARP day at work today, till I thought `ENUFF!` & `BUGGRITT!` and had deep speech with ward Sister this evening re a falling out between 2 colleagues that`s made stupid ripples. Something that should have been nipped in the bud will at least now get seriously PRUNED!)
Cat - you`re being a star mun - your support for DS and his dad, however things turn out, your input will be appreciated.
Kitty - love your cat pix AND the Mess!!
Soupdragon - good luck with the kittens. I typed half a page about this but lost in cyberspace now. Hang in there.
Goodnight Messies, can`t type another word. Emm x
PS Rummer - relieved to read you are posting again!
PPS sorry i`ve missed folks out, sorry I`m knackered., sorry I`m on the late shift tomorrow, sorry OH is on nights... I need a pile of wholemeal ham sandwiches, cherry toms and a bit of cake - AND they need me. `Picnic` on the sofa NOW!!

Emm - love the picnic on the sofa, hope you are feeling a bit more "you" today
Rummer - sending nasty thoughts to "that" person that was nasty to you - I'm a great bekiever in "what goes around comes around" and they will get their just rewards!!
Cat - nice to have a little treat sometimes
Frugal - the post can stay - made me laff

This morning whilst DH was doing the school run i had a bath, sorted the washing into piles, put one load on and one load in the TD, phoned Mum, moved the Hammy to DS's room - he has to stay there during the day as the dog doesn't see DS's room as his territory so doesn't bother with the hammy when he's in there! Last night we put Hammy in the DR and the dog was on Hammy Watch for the entire evening and then couldn't settle at bedtime cos the Hammy was still downstairs, honestly its like having another baby in the house.

I MUST do some ironing today

Hi all and again hugs to all you need them.

Well last night, did about 8 bits of ironing (out of about 400!!) and the pleasure part was watching Masterchef!! Tonight is all about pleasure as Im going out with some of my oldest friends so nothing will be done!!

Im given up smoking for the last time tomorrow...have had a scare with my health and although its all benign can never go through that again. It wasnt even the thought of being ill that got to me it was the thought that my family would be sad and their lives would be miserable if they had to worry about me and I dont want them to have to do that. I just think now that Im very lucky all is benign, just need an op(having done on Feb 1st) and then that will be it. The smoking just has to stop now, Ive done it for approx 35 yrs and have enjoyed it big time but it has to go!!Dont want to be in that position ever again and if I found out I had an illness that was caused by smoking I would feel so guilty and furious with myself.

Technically that means I will have MORE time to be less messy...we will see!!

    Happy Thursday all...

good for you Jacci and best of luck! Glad your health scare turned out not to be too serious:eek: I should give it a go again soon, I gave up last August for a month, and a month the year before that - I'll know when it's the time because I'll just get up, go across to Boots and sign up for smoking cessation - just hope it's soon! Have a good time tonight xx

Quitting would certainly give me more time - sitting here on the pc it's so easy to say, I'll just have one more fag then I'll get up and do something..:o

snookey love, that sounds frightening:( hope you can get the right help xx

Emm hope you're feeling better today xx

going to my cpn today but wish I could postpone it, have been asked to tidy living room as people are coming back here later for a drink and today I just can't refuse to do it, or make a fuss about it. It's horrific in here, didn't get much sleep, and NEED to get moving as soon as I get back. Still, at least I'll get it done:(
