Rummer, do I take it then that your meals for the following couple of weeks will be based on chocolate?0

20 boxes of chocolates!!  I don't think even I could manange that many (I'd probably pick out all the nice ones and throw the orange cremes and toffee ones away - not very MSE!)
OMG - the orange cremes are one of my favourites!!!!!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

I had chicken in a chocolate-based sauce in Mexico a couple of years ago. Yummy but a bit rich! Now its driving me crazy that I can't remember what it was called...0 -

I suppose there may be some excuses for saying `no` to dog ownership....by the way, my driving instructor had 2 asthmatic offspring AS WELL as the lad with the `actual allergy`. Not only were her kids fine with poodles, but as I said earlier she ended up breeding them - and many went to homes where there were folks with similar health probs because proper poodles (not cross-breeds) apparently provide a way around the health probs. And I recall she didn`t do the `lion` clip, they were `teddy-bear` clipped. Actually, we spent a lot of each driving lesson talking about kids & dogs, and I failed my test twice with her but I DID enjoy the lessons!
Another reason you hear for saying `no` to having a dog is that folks are out of the house too much & a dog would be lonely. That`s why we nearly always had at least TWO dogs.
Rummer, you sound like you`d be a great dog-owner. My heart goes out to you. I find it hard to imagine myself having a warm friendship (let alone a `relationship`!) with someone who seriously just dislikes dogs! The only reason we have just the one old Daftie-dog now is that she`s been through the rescue process TWICE before we had her, and she`s still `emotionally challenged`, quite timid with strange adults and (till she got deaf) loud noises etc. At that time we had 2 big old male dogs (how I miss my dear old boys too) and they were too senile and laid back to bother her. After we lost them, we did consider having another dog because there are always dogs who need a loving home, and we felt we had room in our hearts & home for one - but Daftie-dog was deeply upset whenever any friend popped in with a dog, and it would last a couple of days. Also, when my SIL who lives a few doors away popped in, her (now late) soppy old lab-lady-dog used to sometimes follow her here if the gate was open. It wasn`t other dogs` attention or aggression, it was their mere presence in our house that upset Daftie-dog - for days she`d waver between seeking fuss & attention, then just looking all pathetic & sulky and off her food. We decided it was insecurity or jealousy or both. Yet she`s always been great with children, even babies. So, this is a one-dog household now as we`re convinced that bringing in another canine would break old Daftie-dog`s heart, and we love her too much to take the risk - however much we reassure her or try to be firm, her early experiences must have left their mark.0 -

No, more like a hint of chilli. It was mole poblano. Thanks Google & Wikipedia :T
