Pudsey - wish my dog was like that - he quivers with longing - one quick nip and that'd be the end of Homer!!! He can't rest cos he's so excited [well he is now that Homer is hidden from him lol]

All banking is now up to date from 16.12.11 - long boring job that needed to be done, lots of receipts missing but thats as I expected. Need to reign it in now as Jan is already looking bleak and thats without the weather reports lol

Washing - done some more but oh my God its multiplying and there is still loads more to do and the ironing is ever present

    Have a fun afternoon everyone

    Afternoon all!

My plans to sort my craft mags came to nothing, but they're still piled on the floor behind me, taunting me. Maybe I should put them directly behind the chair, or in the doorway, where I'll get so irritated, I'll just have to do them!

However, I have vaccumed through Bearsome Mansion ;), and hopefully removed all glitter, from C decs, from the carpet. I've dusted, too, but it has that very annoying habit of coming back as soon as my back's turned. :( Have taken the bathroom spray out of its hding place, and placed in a prominent position, so that I clean next time I go in - hopefully. Waste basket in the bedroom desperately needs clearing out, too, but I really must pop across the road and see mum this afternoon.

I'm the same. I don't think people who keep furries are minimalist by nature. And the type of furniture I like is the cosy full if cushions and throws type rather than minimal. Much as I'd like to achieve That State, I don't have the right inclinations to successfully achieve and maintain it!

Still, just being tidier and less cluttered will be enough for me!

:rotfl:Oh, I know I can, really, but retirement has made me very lazy in some respects, and Mum always looks very put out if I only stay for a little while. Funny, how I can always make time and effort to go and see the horses, though, isn't it? ;)

Oh I know what you mean.

And yes, if you say to mum "I've got to go now to empty thebin" she might well take a dim view of it! :rotfl:

I don't have any furries as i'm horribly allergic to fur, but I agree on sofas etc....I'd be happy with floors and surfaces clear. They just never seem to be except for the 10 minutes following clearing up. Much as I'd like to just blame the children it isn't all their fault!

That excuse doesn't work for me either cos I haven't got any! I do blame my animals though for the amount of mess that gets walked in!

afternoon Messies :) Another miserable day here, but I've been out and collected our prescriptions, the one thing I had to do today. Unfortunately I had to pick them up in Boots....and ....well... more money was spent on No7. I think I'm panicking at turning 40 this year lol.

Plans for today - declutter one or two of the drawers in my bedside table. Mostly old medicines. Hoover living room. Tea and dishes. Maybe some shredding:j Will come back later to report progress, if there is any!!!:D

eta loudmouth that's interesting about the wheat, it can cause fatigue and depression, I think I'd find it sooo hard to cut it out though! I'd love to be tested for food intolerance.
