    :j I'm back :j

    Hello ladies, lovely to see I have been missed, I had actually sneaked away to a luxury hotel (Groupon) the day after boxing day and I have just arrived back today! It was lovely being able to do nothing but relax and the most energy I expended was walking from the bubble pool to the sauna, bliss. The weather was hideous so I just had to stay in the bar admiring the view while crocheting till my little heart was content while sipping cream smothered hot chocolate :D. My OH was a bit of a grump but hey you can't have everything!

    The house is still in reasonable condition although you can hardly move in the hall for the giant pile of stuff that is waiting to go to the dump :o. I am going to unpack in a minute and just move all the clothes from the case into the washing machine ;)

    Later today I think I may relax and try to sew the bag I have had the material for sine June :o

    I have read over the posts and send hugs to those that need them and big welcome hugs to the new faces :D

  • I DID IT!!!
    :j:beer::j:T:rotfl:

    The muddle on the shelves has been glaring at me for longer than I care to remember and now it's gone! The others all went out for a walk, but I've gone walking on each of the last three days, and have a sore ankle, so this time I stayed in without any guilt, put the 'pooter to sleep and just got on with it. One large binbag and three boxes of stuff for Freecycling later, the stuff on the shelves is all stuff that's currently in use, and neatly sorted into relevant boxes. I can take photos in my tiny living room again!

    ETA - it's a powerful tool, posting my intentions on here - it made me actually do it, rather than think how nice it would be IF I did it, then doing something less scary!

    I've got to make a trip to the dump too, my hall is like the assault course on the Krypton Factor at the moment....ironed a few things which have been hanging on the airer for a couple of [STRIKE]days [/STRIKE]weeks:o and put them away, and did another lot of dishes.:)
