Mugs that have spent too long in DS`s room are seldom reclaimed...I just apologise and say I dropped a mug (truly I did, straight in the bin!)

    Confession?

Ironing? What ironing? Four clothes horses and a bannister and none of it ironed.

And I took a wash out of the machine this am that had been there since Boxing Day. I gave it an extra rinse yesterday, but it didn't really help, and now the whole house smells of slightly musty washing.

And though the Christmas decorations are down, packed and lofted (children mostly) I gave up hoovering the living room halfway through.

And I've been washing windowsills, but can't face doing the windows.

And my living room carpet is so foul I wish it were covered in kipple. Am considering nipping out to hire a rug doctor tomorrow, but I think a lot of the marks are going to have to be scrubbed off by hand...and I don't know where the time or energy are going to come from

    Enough, lol?

Words cannot express how much I love you all right now!!!:D

Confessions. . . . our bedroom is so horrible I often sleep on the sofa!!! We have no carpet in there [blame a new boiler] half the skirting is missing, DH has his desk in a corner and I hate it, in another corner is a pile of carpet tiles that were used by previous owners as underlay for the laminate flooring that used to be in the bedroom - I use the pile to balance my alarm clock on, there are big built in cupboards that store alot of stuff so they can not go, the room has sloping ceiling with a window in it that has to have a blind so no curtain or window sill to put pretty things on, nothing is colour co-ordinated - can you tell how much I hate it!! The dog also has his bed in there so between DH and the dog it often stinks too - yuck, yuck, yuck.

PS I now have a horrible headache

Confessions mmm do I have any ,yes but should I tell ?. In the past Iv put the dirty pans back in the oven ,out of sight out of mind.
Iv left potatoes that were sprouting in the cupboard. Iv climbed over my dd clothes and toys to kiss her goodnight because I could not be bothered to tidy it. Iv thrown clothing into binbags to make the kitchen look free of washing and stored it up stairs until the guests have gone. Iv also put clean washing in binbags and let the family search through for their clothing. There Im a slob.
I woke up in the middle of the night and found myself peddling in the air!. Goodness knowes what was going through my mind. Oh is always moaning that I kick him and snore for England.
  • Confessions...my spare room of doom is messed up again...nothing matches in my house and I hate it....I still have two entire rooms of junk at my parents' three bed bungalow...My OH who is not messy at all sometimes has to wade through the discarded and/or dirty clothes on my side of the bed to give me a goodbye kiss in the morning...and currently my living room smells like greyhound farts. It's a wonder we haven't exploded, what with all that and an open fire in the same room.

That's enough from me :P My mum bought me a trolly dolly for Christmas, so I'm super excited about going food shopping tomorrow. My aim for tomorrow is to properly sort out 'my' cupboard in the kitchen...I stupidly put the tinned goods in a wall mounted cupboard and I'm slightly nervous that it might come crashing down off the wall! Bought three baskets so put all the carp that lives on the bathroom windowsill in, so now I can actually clean the windowill (oh god the rings from the aerosol cans...)

Spent most of the day reading my bath and body making books though...can't wait to get started on that!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time

Oh I LOVE confession time!! Can we do this regularly please??:D

Been fairly non productive tonight, but made tea, collected my washing from friend's and hung it up, and washed down some doors. I did one on Tuesday and the bucket of diluted Stardrops has been sitting in the living room ever since!:o

Tomorrow (morning:eek:) I'm off to Mr T for lightbulbs, booze for New Year, a big diary, and a SHREDDER!!:j I suppose I'd better get some food while I'm there! And the dump, which will get the carp in the hall cleared.

My list for tomorrow is huuuge, want to get as much as possible sorted before Saturday so I'm not rushing round like a loony and too tired to party by the time it starts! Though I'm having second thoughts now - I got locked out the back earlier when taking the recycling down, neighbour-who-does-not-like-me came out, opened it, and sneered "oh - it's you" in a disgusted voice. Hmph.

    Good Evening :D

Well I had a disco nap which was lovely and when I woke up I gave the living room a good tidy and a hoover now I am eating my body weight in chocolate while watching a chick flick.

Confession time, I have on many occasions thrown out containers/pots filled with food that I can't face cleaning. Need to stop doing this now as we have promised ourselves that we will only buy items that we love from now on ;)
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!
  • Confessions....

Where to start :D I too have a casserole dish lidded and sat waiting to be washed. However mine has moved from the kitchen to inside the garage (attached to house with kitchen access) on the floor and I haven't dared open it yet. In fact it has been there so long I can't remember what was cooked in it :o

Also have filled the cooker with frying pans etc when people came over and have moved things to where they don't belong for the same reason. Oh to have a less cluttered life and be able to have people over once in a while without that panic beforehand to get tidied and a little bit respectable :p

    hi Dragoncry:)

Oh this is great! I truly thought I was the only person in Britain slovenly enough to leave pots until they became an SSSI then chuck them out instead of cleaning them!!

Thank you all! I know it's sort of selfish but you really have put me in a very good mood!:T:T

    Hi Cat501

I will have to peak inside very soon I guess as I will not be throwing this pot away. It is one of my very fave dishes to cook in but makes me feel queezy everytime I pass it :D

I threw out a bowl this week. I mixed up the filler for the holes in the ceiling in it, then CBA to clean it (oh, it'll just pop out when it dries). No, it didn't :o

I've just put on another layer of filler, and stood looking at the leftovers in the latest bowl. I daren't flush it down the sink, and didn't want to ruin a cloth either.

Then I realised. It looked like hoummus. And what mops hoummus out of bowls? Bread. I grabbed the crust from the children's loaf (they won't eat it anyway) and wiped the bowl clean in one sweep. Genius :rotfl:Even if I do say so myself ;)
