Phew! Relaxing with a box of chocs and Lee Evans DVD now! Hope you're all well and happy :j

Thank heavens for that, you definitely deserve it, well done! :T

I've taken up three new pairs of trousers with wundaweb, fixed a bit of fencing that blew about in the wind, and fitted a new toilet seat today. Didn't get around to hoovering but that can wait, I'm now officially relaxing :D

    I am seriously doomed.

The plumber is coming to fix the heating at 9am tomorrow

OMG This is a nightmare. The hall and stairs are dreadful (landing not bad) and I am sure he will have to get into the fusebox cupboard which is badly situated at the end of the kitchen behind at least 1sqm of carp which will need shifting  Not to mention the fact that he will have to come thru living room and kitchen.

    I could cry :o

I don't know whether to stay up late somehow sorting it or get up early and heave it all outside just before he gets here :o. Problem is that none of it really belongs there... Its ebay stuff, washing baskets (all full) and other stuff.

Just had a thought... I could drag it all upstairs to my room which would definately look like a R ichard W allace room if I do that :o:o:o

:rotfl:Oh dear..if I was you I think the last idea would work better as long as you make time after the plumber has gone to sort it out properly ...if not.... then YES YOU ARE DOOMED :p We all have moments like this....do please let us know what you decided to do.

On a lighter note.....if I was dreaming I would be as organised as this lady.....http://www.imperfecthomemaking.com/ scroll down and spend some time looking at her house pics. AND she has children, makes me wanna cry. One day ...one day.....

Frugal, I would just put the worst away, and leave most of it. I'm sure they've seen worse (actually, I know they have because they've been in my house!!)

Dragonfly thats my house, lol. I whish. Reality, Im looking around our back room now and there is dozens of receipts,dd papers, books, sweets and cuddley toys over and beside the couch. A cushion is on the floor with dd dress underneath, boots in the room, school bags and coffee mugs. It will stay that way until tommorrow as Im shattered.
Went to the Asda for dd belated birthday cake and could not resist the cut price food. I got seven macaronie cheese meals , 30p each from a pound, three family pies 1.25 each from three pounds something, pizzas 1.25 from three pounds. I was really naughty though as I practically squashed a woman getting to the bargains.
The kitchen has been overtaken by piles of washing, dishes and things for the bin.
Frugal shove everything in binbags and put them outside until he has gone.
Rummer well done for going the dump. When I went I wanted to jump in the skip to reclaim some books that someone had discarded. Only for my friend saying Id never get out again and she would leave me there did I reconsider.

I could barely look :( Didn't the things made from Xmas cards look great though? If I made them they'd look like something a nursery class made!

Frugal I'm feeling your pain! I had a disco nap after tea which went on a bit longer than planned, now I'm still so tired I just want to go straight back to bed - but do I stay up and get stuff done, or get up early? I always SAY oh stuff it, I'll get up early, and never do, so I suppose there's my answer!

Well done Rummer! Our dump was particularly busy today, what was yours like? And I think the blog is a great idea :) Snookey I'd have been tempted to do the same, - climb in the skip I mean!

Kitty that looks amazing! I want one!:D

TylersMummy - well done:T Amazing achievements there!!

Big welcome sparklymessgirl!! another hovel dweller is always welcome! :D Thanks for the advice about the shredding - but I'm having too much fun with my new one lol!

Ok my memory is going so hugs and apologies to everyone else xxx
