afternoon all, Frugal I laughed at your McDs - that's how I feel about my nice shiny bath, I don't want to spoil it by using it:rotfl: Not going to have time for dekippling (or is it kippling?) or anything else today, going to hopefully finish Xmas shopping in a minute, buying chilled ready meals for tea because I have to shower and get ready to go out tonight, nothing worse than slaving over a hot stove when you've just showered....Wrap present for party lucky dip, and that's going to be it. Pondering whether or not to buy the Xmas bailey's today but I know it would be a mistake, the Xmas chocolate's already gone:o Oh, and DDs are going to their dad's on Saturday - so a quiet Xmas for me!:) Have a good day all xxx

Update - living room almost done despite stopping to make a roast for me and the DDs :D

Dining table almost cleared - no space to put the small pile of stuff still on there so will just move it when we eat. Cushion covers and rug washed and dried. Sewing machine put away until after Xmas. 1 sack of recycling, 1 sack of junk. Pile of carp in corner re-organised. Still lots there but takes up less space. My bedroom will serve as a point of reference so that dear friend can see the effort I have made and so I can see what can actually be achieved when one puts ones mind to it :p

Not a bad effort but could do better :D

Got to go to MrT tonight with DDs  to get all the bits for our xmas dinner tomorrow - friend doesn't know I am doing a big meal so will be nice surprise for her - we will have crackers on the table too :)

Then when DDs are in bed, will dust, vacuum and shove rest of carp in understairs cupboard IF I can get to it:rotfl:

ETA - Sorry to hear your are poorly, Rummer :( Get well soon x
