Well done cat. I appealed my esa from wrag and was also put in the support group . Im bi polar but it was on physical that I qualified for the support.
Muffin hope your appeall goes well and you get the help you need.

Iv been busy putting a mountain of clothing away as well as washing. Kitchen given a good clean. DD room tidied , cupboards and drawers sorted . I have a mental block when it comes to sorting and putting the washing away and so it becomes a mountain.
Im going to tackle the spare room so my new cupboard can go in there.

    Keep busy everyone.

My bi-polar friend got a letter saying his appeal has been forwarded to the tribunals service. He's in a right state, I keep telling him that they do NOT take ALL your money away while waiting on the tribunal, just the premium(s) but he doesn't seem to believe me!

I've actually got no idea why they put me straight into the support group this time, I only scraped through the tribunal and got put into WRAG before :/ I'm scared to ask for details in case they realise their mistake:rotfl:

Having said that, I was waiting on my tribunal for 8 months last time, on WRAG for a further 6 months after that, and never once got called in for a work focussed interview!

Got a man coming early afternoon tomorrow for washing machine so I SHOULD crack on with the kitchen tonight, but knowing me I'll do it in the morning:o

Mine was changed by a decision maker. My money just carried on as before with the premiums but maybe thats because Iv been put on income support and they take money from my esa. Also Its protected by transistional from incapacity to esa. I really dont know.
Hope your friend gets a good outcome.,.

thanks snookey, he's transitioning from IS with a disability premium, hopefully it will work the same way and he'll be better off than I thought...I really thought the decision maker would have changed his decision on reconsideration but obviously they haven't:(

Oh well, done as much as I can in the kitchen given that the blinkin' hot water has gone off yet again! I don't know how many times I've had people out to fix the boiler, it's never worked properly in the 3 years I've been here. It's driving me crazy, they'd be better off just replacing the boiler but they won't....so another phone call to make tomorrow, going to have to try and make them understand that I want it fixed once and for all:(

I know I could boil kettles to do the dishes tonight but I cba with the faff!:D

Just been down to put rubbish out and get cigs, it's pouring and miserable here :(
  • hello folks - just discovered this thread I've read the first 6 pages, I might have caught up shortly after you hav reached page 200 or so

much of what has been said in the early pages rings true with me.
  • Cat- well done on the ATOS, must be a weight off your mind! I'm ColleenPamela, or She Who Whinges About Her Actually Lovely OH. I've done absolutely nothing, I worked on Wednesday until 10pm, we had a really successful night but I'm still catching up with my rest. OH did the washing up last night bless him, I just couldn't stand the thought of standing there and doing it!

aaargh of COURSE!!:doh::doh:I'll have to get used to calling you MM now instead of CP!! Thanks, it is a weight off my mind though I was completely resigned to having to go to tribunal again! I hope now that I won't have to worry about it for 6 months or so:)

Nice of you OH to do the dishes! It must be so great to see someone else do them for a change:(

    Hi Georgiegirl, welcome:j

Today have hoovered hall, kitchen and living room:eek: and phoned housing association about the boiler, just waiting for a call back and for the washing machine man to come. Also dad is coming to put my new microwave up on the wall, bought a pair of brackets from Argos so hopefully it'll work and give me a little more worktop space. I could end up with a kitchen crowded with workmen this afternoon!

Why do boilers start working perfectly for the repair man? Why why why why why???

WM will be fixed next Wednesday or Thursday, all being well:j

DS's dad invited me down for some dinner tonight with them, which I accepted.... an hour later, as I stood dishing up for me and DD1, I remembered that I was getting fed later......this short term memory problem is getting worse! Not really freezable stuff either so had to phone and apologise!!

Half the dishes done, showered, now going down to see DS and his dad with my tail between my legs....:o

Hope everyone has had a good day! xx
  • He is a sweetheart really :) About to do the teensy amount of washing up, prepared my shopping list, priced it all and sorted my purse and bag out for tomorrow, so that'll do for tonight. Got to get organised next week!

  • Hi folks, been reading when I can but first chance to post and this will be briefest I can manage.
CAT -I was SO glad to hear from you after your birthday thing - I was getting a bit worried, but like I said, folks here DO care, even though we`ve never met.
LAUREL - the job thing - great that you got that far, & my commiserations to the poor soul who got it !
WELCOME all new folks, there`s never too many Messies to help each other along.
CP/MM - a rose by any other name would smell as sweet - thanks for putting us out of our puzzlement.

I`m in VERY Messy state, bare minimum maintenance to eat/sleep/wear clean stuff, between work & home - major domestic with DS, it`s both messy & other issues, feeling quite strangely stronger this time. Maybe reached saturation level. Hugs to all, & thanks for being therexxx
