Hi Gilly1964 - not sure if we've met before, if so please forgive me for forgetting as I have a memory like a goldfish!!!
Good day today - been to GP who said the tingling I've been feeling is like a small hyperventilation thing I've got going on (happens when I'm rushing/stressed) and she gave me some tips to stop it. She stressed I must take time for myself to relax and not try to do everything in the day. This is really important. Hmmm, we'll see. I've got to cut myself some slack and if something isn't done it really doesn't matter (I have OCD issues too).
So today I took photos for stuff to put on Netmums/ebay, been out for a lovely walk with the dog, stripped the kids' beds and remade, sorted washing and now about to get the kids a snack so when I pick them up from school for swimming they'll have a bit of food in their tummies.
Salmon tagliatelli for dinner tonight ..... quick, easy and v tasty!!
Hope you're all well, it's been super quiet on here today xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hi messies:hello:
Today i've hoovered, sorted summer clothes out, tidied Boo's room and made a red lentil lasagne for tea:D:D:D
Am almost sorted for Xmas now, just need to get my mum some sloe gin, then that's it:D:D
Haven't read the thread much recently but massive (((huggles))) to all of you:D:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Hi Mumof2, your day sounds like it has been busy and glad to hear GP is giving out some sound advice. Now if only we could all get a cleaner on the NHS life would be so much easier.
If I ever become PM I am going to order 5 day weekends and two day working weeks, then a cleaner for all stressed out peeps so then the unemployment queue would be shortened - what do you think - gilly1964 for PM??0 -
Been away for so long - would love to say it is because the house is no longer messy - but that is no not true
Welcome to all the newbies, hello to the oldies and hugs to all who need them.
Today is the first time in ages I have felt like tackling anything -
I woke at 7 and have cleared all the ironing.
The washing is on the line, but still have about 4 loads to do so machine will be on overdrive today - it will all be clear before I go to bed tonight. One load left to go - I will get there.
Age Concern are collecting a bed today - it is being replaced by a sofa bed for the spare room. Once the bed is gone I will hoover and dust in that room. Age Concern did not turn up so now arranged a council collection and bed is on the drive
Need to find some paperwork for mobile contract as friends and family discount has not been applied. So will have to go into town later to get that sorted. Sorted so now got 30% discount applied to account
Beef in the slow cooker, with carrots, swede, onion and a can of beer. Will be tomorrow's dinner in a pie with some pasties for the freezer.
Pie and pasties made
Baked gammon for tonight with roasties, cauli cheese and any other veg in the fridge. Leftovers will go in portions for the freezer.
Done and washing up already in DW
Also got some ebaying to do - if I cba. CBA always another day
Will report back later.
Washing that was on the line has also been ironed
Went into a shop in town today and saw some trousers I liked but only 10, 12 and 14 on display so asked if they had bigger size. Lovely SA said no the fattest size we go to is 14 - I left feeling quite deflated, but then thought I may be fat, I may be occasionally loopy, often known as floopy, but at least I don't insult those who are unfortunate enough to be a bigger than average stick insect.
Have a good evening all xx0 -

OMG what a rude SA - how dare they insinuate that anyone over a certain size is FAT - I can't believe that anyone could be so insensitive, I'm a size 18 and if anyone called or referred to me being fat I think I wouldn't be resposible for my actions!!!!
Helen xProjects made for craft fair - 40

helloooooo!!! Thank you SO much for the birthday wishes!!xxx Got a lot of catching up to do, Friday was great until the miserable neighbours called the police, Saturday was also good, and to be honest I'm only just recovering now!! (I blame the increased dosage of my tabs, not the fact that I'm getting old and can't handle the pace any more.....no no no!;-)) Have slept and slept and slept....
Still tired though so will properly catch up with everyone tomorrow, hope you are all well and everything is going good for you, I noticed you'd done very well going for a job Laurel, hope you are feeling better now and taking the positives from it! (hugs)
love and hugs to everyone
Cat xxx0 -
Laurel Im with Helen in that I believe in fate and that things happen for a reason . Your time will come and I bet that dream job will just be a step away.
Naughty Cat , what were you doing for the nieghbours to call the police. Its not good Cat to go dancing in your birthday suite, lol.
Today I paid more bills and bought a massive office cupboard with shelves from a second hand place. Its going into our spare room , It was only £35.00 with delivery and well worth it. Hides the mess.
Im going to scrub the house from top to bottom Thursday.
Could not go the gym as oh not really well enough.0 -
snookey!!! As if I'd do a thing like that!! :rotfl: They just don't like me, that's all
YL so sorry to hear about your son, god I hate hearing things like that:(:(:( has he got his own group of friends to support him? If you feel that the parents would be reasonable I'd definitely try to have a word, it can be hard though.:(
puss, sorry to hear about your parentsIt must be very worrying for you, living so far away
I had some good and totally unexpected news at the weekend, just 9 days after going for my second medical with Atos, I got the dreaded letter - I not only "passed" (therefore, no appeal tribunal to go through) but I got put into the support group instead of the Work Related Activity Group which I was in before. I must have read the letter a hundred times, and to be honest I'm still expecting a letter from them saying they've mixed me up with someone else!!
House is not too dreadful after the weekend, still a bit of tidying to do, and needless to say cleaning and de-cluttering hasn't started yet! I have finally phoned someone to come out and look at my washing machine (after 4 months!). There was no answer so I'll have to pluck up the courage to phone again but at least I'm trying:D
Had to buy a new microwave today (just what I needed just before Xmas) and on the way my mum made me go into a new Whole Foods Market Store which has just opened (there seems to be a few in London too). It was lovely but very expensive and I felt soooo uncomfortable in there, couldn't wait to get back to Mr T:rotfl:
MessyMare, who are you, I can't work it out???? It's on the tip of my tongue though, and really annoying me!!!0 -

oh and i've got to go back to docs so she can change my tabs2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -
muffin, I'm sure it was because I won my tribunal before, and as my cpn wrote a letter saying nothing has changed since last time, they knew it was odds on I'd win another one.....so I guess they thought they'd cut their losses, as tribunals cost them more money.....
I really hope you are well enough to go to yours this time, it's so important, and get as much help as you possibly can, I'm sure you will win this time!xx
